This smart compact cottage is for one couple only. Mia Mia is perfect for a couple wanting to totally escape and explore this special and isolated part of Fraser Island. Open plan design, generous deck with filtered ocean views, comprehensively equipped kitchen and almost open air bathroom.. Perched in the trees, surrounded by Banksias with a filtered view of the ocean, Mia Mia is ideal for a couple looking for affordable boutique accommodation in quiet surroundings at Orchid Beach. Self-contained with private access and parking. Lower deck with a large storage space also accommodates a small laundry. Please note Orchid Beach can only be accessed by driving along the beach with a high clearance 4WD and within 3 hrs of low tide. Note linen is not provided. We can put you in touch with local provider.

Magnificent part of the island. Accommodation was as per advertised. Quiet little place nestled in the trees with the sound of ocean though out the night. House was very well presented and had no problems all week. Thank you for allowing us to share this magnificent place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mia Mia. We booked very last minute so didn’t have linen with us. Simon was very helpful getting us in touch with a local provider and giving very clear information. This location was stunning, yes a few levels to get to the treetops but worth the effort. The natural beauty was amazing. We even saw a sugar glider just metres from the balcony one night. This was a great base to explore the north of the island which we had always wanted to do. We would highly recommend Mia Mia for couples wanting privacy and beautiful natural surroundings.
