About this house rental
Stylish house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one half bathroom, large living room and kitchen. Heated pool 4x10 m in a private walled in garden. House is fully renovated - old charm preserved. Altogether about 200 square meters. All amenities, laundry, dryer, dishwasher etc. Facilities for 8 people. Services in the village include small supermarket, pharmacy, post office, bakery, doctors office, cigarette shop, bar etc. Close to beaches (La Rochelle some 1hr 15 min away by car, Paris 2,5 hours away by fast train). Less than 100 km to Bordeaux.

This house is exceptional. The outside area is particularly lovely, the pool a dream. We had everything we needed, spending evenings cooking in the kitchen room which overlooks the garden and pool area was relaxing and eating outdoors equally pleasant. Communication with the host was probably the best we have experienced after many stays across Europe, she was more than helpful. Nearby we made trips to Angoulême, Saintes, Royan ( a must for the architecture) and Niort. We can thoroughly recommend.

A wonderful holiday home, beautifully modernised and renovated, everything you could ever need is catered for - even down to bluetooth speakers (x3), yoga mats, air conditioning in two rooms (though house very cool in July), and the fridge has ice machine and ice cold water.
Plus comfy beds, great pool and stunning courtyard. So much space. Boulangerie 100 metres away.
Best holiday house we've ever had in France. And Erika is lovely. (and Colin Debbie who meet you and show you around.
Highly recommended.

We had a lovely two weeks. The house was so comfortable, well-equipped and tastefully furnished and decorated. We enjoyed the pool and the peace and quiet. First chance we have had to go abroad since the pandemic, and this was just what we needed. The pool and outside area was perfect.
Communication was excellent and lovely to meet Debbie and Colin who couldn't have been more helpful.
We like to explore different parts of France when we visit, so have never returned to the same place, but I would happily stay in this house again if we are visiting the area.
