MAS DES VIGNES - View Cité de Carcassonne

Winderful gite in the gounds of a wine estate, Our very ghospitable host, Sabine, shared the history of the chateau and estate, and her very good wine. The gite was comfortable, with good amenities. The pool whic is a 5 minute walk away was lovely - I prefer salt water pools to chrinated. Located on the outskirts of Carcosonne, we had wonderful views. And a very short wak to the Canal du Midi. If you are concerned about the proximity of the airport, don't be. There are only four scheduled flights a day, and ther est are light aircraft. It dod not disturb our stay. There is lenty to do nearby - from visiting Carcasonne, to caves, canoeing and even mountain biking in the Pyrenees ...

Absolutely gorgeous house on a stunning private vineyard estate. Lovely welcoming host and fabulous wine tasting experience. Huge private pool between our family, with a short walk to get to it at main Chateau.

If i was to be picky, some minor maintenance on the pool edges and a bit of trimming on the trees in the lane that approaches the guest house would make it even more fantastic (in case guests have a hire car, it would completely avoid possible scratches, but that said the car we had was a huge 6-8 man mini bus and still didn't scratch it at all).

La ubicación, cercano al centro en coche. Las camas eran cómodas y el entorno es muy bonito.
