About this house rental
We guarantee the view! Enjoy your coffee on the deck with the sunrise and have happy hour looking over the ocean when the sun sets. This is a beautifully decorated 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home with everything you have at home, plus a view. The kitchen is well-equipped with anything a cook might need. If cooking is not your thing there are great restaurants in Ocean Isle, Sunset, and Calabash. Each bedroom has a TV/DVD. . You will feel like you are home away from home with all of the amenities including Wi-Fi. The downstairs deck in perfect for watching the kids on the beach or for a gathering spot. The upstairs deck is off of the master bedroom and is a great place to sun or to read a book.
The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. It has a connecting bathroom with a shower. Three of the bedrooms are located upstairs. The back and middle bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath with a double vanity area and separate tub and shower. The master bedroom has it's own bath with a shower and both upstairs baths have skylights. The back bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin bed with a trundle. The middle room is perfect for the kids. There are bunk beds along with a full size bed. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a sitting area.
The home is part of a duplex at the peaceful end of the beach near the inlet.(Both sides of the duplex may be available upon request.) For those looking to stay busy, some of the best golf courses are located within 10 min. of the house. Myrtle Beach, SC, is just 25 miles away with anything you would like to do. Spend a day shopping at the outlets or take in a show at the Palace Theater. If you are in the mood for a quiet, small town atmosphere, Southport, NC is a short drive from Ocean Isle. The streets are lined with antique stores and great water front dining. You can also take the Fort Fisher Ferry from Southport to Fort Fisher/Wilmington to visit the Aquarium, Battleship North Carolina or have lunch on the waterfront. If your plan is to do as little as possible, Ocean Isle Beach fits the bill too. The beach is at your door step. There are wonderful surf and deep sea fishing opportunities in the area. Bike rentals are available on the island as well as kayaks. This is a place where everyone can find what they want to do or not do, as the case may be. Incredible location! We have been going to OIB for 30 years but this was our first stay at the end of the island and it was amazing! The house was perfect! Very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. I can’t say that about most places we have stayed. Thank you to the Carpenters for sharing your lovely home!

Our family has been coming to Ocean Isle annually for over 20 years and we love the quiet East End of the island. This was our first year staying in this home and we loved it. Nothing beats being able to walk out the door and straight into the sand. The layout was great for our 2 families with kids and we felt like we had plenty of space. The kitchen had nearly everything you could need and more. Our extended family booked the other half of the duplex and it worked out great for us. Communicating with the host was very easy and made the whole trip seamless. We've already booked again for next year!

Well stocked home gorgeous views and everything so convenient. Our host was wonderful and very responsive. Would recommend property to others.

Arrived at house on time 4 pm couldn’t get in until 4:40 due to electronic lock not working/ battery dead. Manager told me location of keys after calling her several times. Place was good, cleaning wasn’t . Dirty sinks and caked on dirt in air vents. Sand in all shower and tub areas . Roaches noticed everyday and photographed roaches probably there because place is never cleaned properly. Property manager is trying to say we left place dirty with dirty dishes. We did leave dishes in dishwasher because it was still running and cleaning service was there just before 10am and we had to leave. Cleaning lady said she would take care of it. Cleaning lady was also told about place not being clean on arrival. Have photos of everything wrong that I could find. I didn’t complain too vrbo because their complaint number listed wasn’t working and out disconnected. Will not use vrbo in the future. Will not return to C shore because someone, either the cleaning lady or manager wants to
