Vache Hotel

It is a family business. The room is the cleanest you can find in this region. Everything is good quality, in good condition and well maintained. Owner lady is very kind and helpful. Bed is king size and very comfortable. View from the balcony is very good.

The Vache Hotel is relatively new and the rooms are well-equipped. It's a bit like a guesthouse, as guests and hosts family live in the same building, and there's a kitchen and laundry room (I didn't request laundry service). The town is small with only a few restaurants, so guests usually buy groceries at the supermarket and heat them up in the kitchen. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the town center, which can be inconvenient when dragging large luggage uphill, especially in rainy day. Of course, you can also choose to hire a taxi.

Host was very very welcoming and showed us all amenities on arrival, the view from our room was also beautiful. The bed was also one of the comfiest I’ve stayed in anywhere I’ve been.

Very clean, comfortable bed, friendly hosts, beautiful view, wonderful dog and cats!

It was veryyy cold. -12 outside and the heater is slightly warm. It was impossible to relax in my room. I could only lay in bed under magic warm blanket or sit in the kitchen in front of the fireplace. My hands were freezing and I couldn't take off my outerwear and shoes in the room. All I wanted is to stay alone in my room and meditate and so on but it was impossible.
