Resort Suites Pyramid & Lagoon

We paid around **** for this room, but it was not worth it at all. You can find better homestays apartment like cheaper than this with 10xx better units e.g. Gateway Mall only 20-30 mins drive. This unit was ancient unit, Very compact with unmaintained facilities , old furnitures , visible of the wood rot, we family of 2 kids had a very unpleasant experience. Dont get deceived by the photos and caption. Car park also complicated quite a busy location even at midnight, check-in by yourself no staff to assist at the so called ‘reception’ only have guidelines from the host. Its lower grade than a budget hotel. Idk about other units but this was very lowkey. Looking at the condition u wont even feel like using the facilities. Idk this was my worst choice of booking a stay in KL. I have gotten better units for lower price. Thats why I opt for price range above 400 cause i thought lower than that will be in very low quality. Only good thing is the bed was comfy . Please look for alternative units. Highly Disappointed.

Overall is good but needs to service the air cond because it’s really not cool.

This is more of an Airbnb apartment rather than Hotel room. You have to contact the apartment owner (host) to gain access to the access card to then gain access to the room. Agoda did provide a contact number in the booking details so I need to self contact the host. The room has everything needed for a small family, from water dispenser to utensils for light cooking if needed. The negative are: 1) Bunk bed is very squeaky when you turn around while sleeping. They provide a foldable bed so my son sleep on the foldable bed rather than bunk bed top level, else it will noisy. Not for light sleeper. 2) Bedside table and dining table are "broken". Bedside table is seating on a plastic chair and dinning table is seating on a makeshift pillar. 3) Shower is from a water heater even though the setup is like a hotel with main faucet, which has been re-purpose to just supply water to water heater. 4) Aircon is attached to water pump so periodically the pump will run for few seconds for every few minutes. Not for light sleeper. Positive of the stay: 1) It has coin operated laundry that you can use to wash laundry. 2) Comes with bathtub. 3) Direct access to Sunway Pyramid Mall. 4) Direct access to Sunway Lagoon side entrance. 5) Stay is value for money. Do note that if you drive, parking is paying normal rate as the apartment is not affiliated with Sunway so no parking discount. If your expectation is like an ok Airbnb stay to just have a place to sleep then go for it. If you expect Hotel room like facility with hotel like service then you will be very disappointed. You pay what you get.

It's not exactly the ratings that it should be at 8.7 rather I will give it a 7.5. However if you are going for location then its not too bad the deal not for hotel suite comfort
