A Charming and Beautiful Oasis in the Heart of Copenhagen

Location and feel of the place. Host was very nice too.

Ceiling is quite low. If you are very tall, it could be a problem. No way of darkening the room. If brightness bothers you to sleep think ahead and bring a mask. Bells from town hall ring every so often. Host kindly supplies with ear plugs.

Loved the vibe and location. One of a kind in a good way.

The location is by far the best thing about this flat. It's just a block from the city hall and from the main pedestrian street and it couldn't be more conveniently located for the sights of Copenhagen.

We hadn't understood how very noisy it was going to be. The flat is near a bell tower that goes off very loudly every 15 minutes until midnight. Although the host left ear plugs for us, we still could hear the noise from the bell tower (and also from the loud guests who stayed in the other flat), and this meant that we couldn't sleep. In the end, we gave up and just stayed up until after midnight each night, but this meant we were all exhausted and grumpy. Honestly, if we had understood about the sound levels, we wouldn't have chosen this flat, despite the location.
