Charming Old Farmhouse

Het huis is erg mooi en authentiek. De omgeving is prachtig, weg van de drukte. De keuken ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De slaapkamers en badkamers voldoende. De hosts zijn er aardig en prettige gesprekspartners! Wij hebben genoten.

Would of preferred a more relaxing sofa

It is really a Charming old farmhouse nicer than the photos. Loved staying there for the two nights of our road trip. Greta was incredible helpful. Gave us all the right tips for visiting the area.

The property was in the beautiful countryside and was indeed charming. We were welcomed with milk and bread made by Ger. The beds were very comfortable and the property was spacious with areas such as the porch to read and relax. The washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher made life a little easier. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and condiments. The house has been in the family for generations and it was lovely to have a peep into the history. The nearest town we frequented was Macroom which seemed to have more character than Coachford. All in all a wonderful place to stay (and good value) and we would certainly stay again (minus the dog).

We took our dog with us thanks to the owners being so flexible. However, this is a working farm and so whilst the accommodation was great for our furry friend, the implications/restrictions of being on a working farm meant that on reflection this wasn’t the best choice for her.
