Welcome to Above It All, a beautifully rebuilt and modernized beach retreat located in a peaceful residential neighborhood in northern Surf City, near North Topsail Beach. After Hurricane Florence, we rebuilt this home from the ground up—completed in 2020—to create a larger, brighter, and better-than-ever coastal escape while preserving the charm of the original property.
Just 1.5 blocks from the beach and half a block from a scenic canal, this home offers the best of coastal living: ocean breezes, spacious decks, and gorgeous views in every direction.

Our stay at Above it All was excellent all the way around. The home was everything our family wanted & needed for our week away on vacation. The beach was just steps away, restaurants & shops were just down the street, and Joel was a friendly & responsive host. We’ll definitely be returning!

Our family had an incredible week at Above It All in Surf City, NC! We arrived to find that the house was immaculate and pristine from top to bottom. No detail was missed by the owner. There was a welcome bag of locally made chocolate treats that were delicious. Every bed was already made with the softest linens. The mattresses were so comfortable! The kitchen had every tool you can imagine and was equipped with wonderful appliances. The views in every part of the house are beautiful. The house was everything we hoped for and more, but I can honestly say that the owner is the icing on the cake. He was responsive, thorough, detailed, and kind. I'm so glad we found this house and this owner and we have already asked to book a stay next summer. Above It All will not disappoint!
