The owner, who was so lovely, attentive and easy-going, made this stay. We were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived by the lovely couple who run the hotel and restaurant, who helped us to park and offered us glasses of orange juice. The room had a large, comfortable double bed and the air con was really powerful and worked as intended, which was perfect as it was at least 35C. We had a lovely balcony with sea view. The breakfast was varied, homemade and tasty and we also ate at the restaurant which was delicious! We were even offered complimentary courgette fritters.

The price was in line with other options in Himarë, but I think accommodation in this area is overpriced.

This hotel is located right in the centre of the beach strip in Himare. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the views from the balcony were fun. The included breakfast was enormous, although since I am gluten free, it was a bit limited for me. The restaurant downstairs is very popular, so it is often necessary to make a reservation if you wish to have dinner there. If the restaurant is full, there is a wonderful restaurant across the street that is directly over the ocean, has great food, cooling spray and a sea breeze. The beaches in Himare are mostly private, so it is generally necessary to pay for a sun bed. However, there is a public beach about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, across the street and down some stairs. The hotel will lend you an umbrella, and the beach has loads of comfortable bean bag chairs. The mornings on the beach were quiet, but the music really ramped up in the afternoon and evening, so we would move down the road to the southern part of the beach strip to where it was much quieter.

This is a fancy hotel with marble floors, so if you have been to the beach, you need to wash your feet off with the hose in front of the restaurant. We were only allowed one key, which we were to put in a slot by the front door if we went out. We weren't sure how secure that was, so we had to coordinate with each other to ensure we had access to our room if we went out separately.
