Prachtig liefdevol ingericht appartement met balkon aan de Somme met uitzicht op park. Zeer vriendelijke host die alle tijd nam om ons te ontvangen en wegwijs te maken in het appartement, maar ook in Amiens. Parkeerplek is extra te reserveren en is een aanrader. Keuken compleet, bedden top en ruime badkamer met wasmachine en droger. Fijn bij een langer verblijf.

Ein sehr gemütliches Appartement, das genauso schön, wie auf den Fotos ist! Und die Lage ist perfekt.

Hortillon is a gorgeous little flat overlooking the canal in Amiens. It is creatively decorated and very well equipped, using great use of small spaces to provide great facilities whilst creating a cozy feel. We were met by Miguel who provided the keys and gave us a tour, showing how everything worked and setting the TV to our preferred satellite channels (it was very easy to message and meet up just outside the property). The bedrooms are spacious with convenient hanging/storage space for luggage/clothes and the beds and mattresses are both very comfy, and the shutters on the bedrooms very effective in keeping rooms cool (it was very hot when we were there). There was an A/C unit in the living area which was brilliant and the little balcony was a gorgeous place to sit and watch the world go by (particularly lovely when we had an evening breeze). Plug extensions ensure there are enough power sockets for lights and devices. The shower was good pressure and the bathroom was also very well equipped with laundry facilities. The whole flat was absolutely spotless and it was perfectly situated on the canal but also near to the quay (great restaurants) and the cathedral. A super, super find - we had a very happy stay, thank you Miguel and Isabelle!

The WiFi was not always very strong, but this is a very small point.
