Everything was wonderful. The hostess is pleasant, friendly, and helpful, the place is spotless, clean and new - with all the facilities good T.V. -normal size, ( VS most of the hotels weve been in ) .the casa that sits so well on the Danube, a quiet place, in a green garden with all the facilities for food , coffee maker gaz BBQ . the parking for the car was perfact.and the view from the garden - a view of the beautiful Danube. The water flow in the shower - really good. close to "porțile de fier " -a must see site, HUGE hydroelectric power station, the biggest inbetween Romania-Serbia ( former Yugoslavia ) .
the city - shabby, old, ruing houses, misery for residents, shameful. I do not know who runs this city but he should be ashamed of it 😡😡. A city that sits in such an amazing place, with WOW potential and is the antithesis of the Danube beauty. What a disappointment. nothing to do in the evening, not restaurants on boats, or any boardwalk at all, Restaurants are almost non-existent, and apart from the 3 major food chains Penny, Carrefour, Lidl, there is nothing to do in this place at all. What a miss! Just a crime.
