ZEN Central Apartments

Very nice big apartment. Everything you need is there.

There were many stairs to walk, to the 3rd floor.

A very nice, modern and stylish apartment, conveniently located near a very good supermarket and an excellent coffee place. This was our fourth stay here, which probably says it all — consistently a great experience.

Absolutely nothing.

Whenever we are coming to Cluj, we are staying at Zen Central Apartments. It was a flawless stay all the time. We will definitely come back

The apartment is large and quite close to the city center.

The cleanliness can be significantly improved. There were stains in the bathroom, kitchen and on the curtains. The block is made of cheap materials and reminds me of the cheap hundreds of blocks built in the sea resorts like Mamaia. The mattress is ridiculously soft and when your partner turns around during the sleep, you will feel every move too. The balcony doors have no mosquito screens so we had some flies as uninvited guests which were very annoying during the morning. The apartment is not sound proof. We heard a lot of noise from outside during the morning. This is worsened by the many airplanes flying above the center of Cluj (I have never seen so many planes flying so low above the center of a large city...but this is not the property's fault of course). So being sound proof is very important. The windows (at least the only one with a mosquito screen) should be left open before a new guest arrives. The air inside stinks when you get inside the apartment. The official policy acocrding to the information provided by the host (the menu in the fridge) is to receive a bottle of water every day for each guest. No replacement after the first day was provided. So: cleanliness, not sound proof, lack of balcony doors mosquito screens, insufficient ventilation, cheap building feeling
