It’s clean, warm and is in an excellent location . Only had bed and breakfast which again is excellent

Radiator in bedroom seemed to have a mind of its own as it would not always come on when we wanted it. The location is convenient with a local shuttle bus stop right outside, but the shuttle service itself was inconsistent due to the weather conditions (not the hotel’s fault). Unfortunately, we relied on it to reach Prosneige in La Croisette for lessons — in hindsight, booking with ESF Bruyères, which is walkable, would have been far more practical. Bedroom storage could have been better designed. The main wardrobe shelf was positioned too high to be practical, and in the smaller adjacent wardrobe one shelf was similarly out of reach. The two middle shelves were occupied by a fridge and a safe which left limited usable space left. With limited drawer space available, we used the sofa bed to lay out clothes. This solution worked for two people, but it would be less convenient for three persons. Our stay was generally pleasant but on the final day we requested a late checkout of just one hour (from 10:00am to 11:00am) and were surprised to be charged a €50 fee as a charge that was never mentioned when we made the request. When we questioned it, management stubbornly insisted that we had signed a “contract” instead of showing a shred of flexibility or goodwill. This kind of rigid, money grabbing policy feels more like the exploitative tactics of a budget airline than a hospitality business. Had we been made aware when making the request we would have been out by 10am. The experience left us with the clear impression that squeezing every last cent from guests matters more to them than customer satisfaction. Lesson for hotel management, if a guest requests a late checkout it would be a small courtesy to notify them of the fee instead of hiding behind a contract.
