Perfect apartment and perfect location

Walking up 5 flights of stairs, especially with luggage, was a challenge as we are in our late 70's, but we were able to do it for a month.

Comfortable apartment in a great location

Location was great. Apartment had everything I needed - no frills but comfortable. No elevator but the wonderful staff helped me with my bags and I didn’t mind the exercise.

Lots of construction so it makes the building look shabby but I guess in due time it’ll be nicer looking. I just happened to be there during this time.

Everything! Nicely decorated, clean & spacious. Comfortable beds & sofa bed. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. Location was amazing!! So many shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, patisseries… even a cinema, all on your door step. Close to a few different metro stops & walking distance to the Louvre. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful service too, very attentive, messaging to make sure we were ok, looking after our luggage & being available to help.

This is a wonderful neighborhood, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was easy to connect with hosts with questions. They brought us extra cookware, and carried our heavy suitcases upstairs and downstairs for us.

The spiral staircase, traditional in these old Paris buildings, was a challenge for one of us. Guests should be aware that there is no air conditioning, only an electric fan.

I will definitely choose here to stay again next time I come to Paris

The host was very responsive and friendly before and during the trip, which made you feel secured when you lived in a service apartment. We were 4 people sharing one bed apartment (2 slept on sofa bed), and it was comfortable. It located in an old building, but all the facilities in the room were modern. The room was quiet at night and bright in the morning. There are many restaurants/pubs nearby and close to most of tourist spots. The area feels safe too.

Not a big issue, but there is no lift, just to remind everyone if you have heavy luggages.

Great for a three day sightseeing trip

The apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped. We were glad we were on the first floor not higher up. The location was good for easily accessing the areas of Paris we wanted to visit. There were shops, bars and restaurants close by

The location is in a busy street so noisy in the mornings. The studio is small. No view. There was only one wine glass and one champagne glass. Only one loo roll provided

Perfect location, clean and new. A great find in Paris

It was a good size for central Paris, sofa bed was really comfy for 2 kids and had been recently renovated. Staff contacted us several times to check we were ok, and gave us early check in after a long flight.

Magnifisent for families who need to cook sth on their own and need to be at the center of paris.

Really nice location. Very helpful staff. I would choose to go there again for sure. We could cook on our own for breakfast or a quick dinner. We had a washing machine for our dirty clothes. Metro, market, and restaurants were very close to us, so we could find everything very easily. Thank you for everything.

We didn't know from the start that we would need to pay extra for towels cahnge, but we resolved the issue with the very helpful staff, and everything went well.

Very good location and very convenient apartment for family vacations.

All the things in the appartment were with good functionaliry and quality, good choice of housekeeping items to use kitchen. Comfortable beds, including couch, pillows. Quality shower.

In the first day there was a stench from canalization lingering around in the room. But with the use of amenities it disappeared. Also perhaps hosts did something about it as we informed them.

Gem in the 2nd arr in Paris

This apartment served us super well. Since it was reasonably priced and in Paris we were expecting it to be much smaller. The building is a little older but the unit is very well maintained and impeccably clean. The bed is comfortable, the shower functional, the kitchen reasonably stocked and it turns out there was a washer drier. With the coded door lock it was easy to check in and out, no physical key to deal with. The apartment is on a street with many food options a few minutes away. One metro line is 5 minutes away, another is 15 minutes away, which made it a good location to get around. And the place was shockingly spacious. I would stay here again!

Some minor maintenance issues, walls a bit dirty, a couple visible holes on the walls.

Location was awesome. Very lively neighborhood, well connected with transportation, safe, and in 30mins of walk to Notre Dame. We often stayed late and returned after 23h, and the local cafes were filled with people Bed was comfortable, has small kitchen, overall clean apartment.

Nice apartment close to the city

The look of the apartment was very nice and the location was great for getting fast to any destination in the city as well as CDG.

You hear the guests in the other apartments quite loud. Especially the guests above were very loud until after 12 o’clock in the first night. NC headphones or similar are recommended

Wonderful staff and great location. There is an elevator which was very helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast options, which included home cooked omelets upon request.

A very nice stay overall. There are more advantages than disadvantages for this location.

Perfect location, we just took a walk to the Louvre, close to the Metro stations. Lots of spots to eat around. Enough room for a family of 4. The disposable slippers were nice and convenient. The host was responsive in the evening, so we got all the information we needed on our arrival about the facility.

The bathroom wasn't too clean. Coffee once provided should be enough for each day of the stay not just for the first day. Emptying the trash bins should be part of the cleaning service not on the guests side.

Our home away from home.

Our host was so helpful. The apartment was warm and well laid out. The kitchen area had everything we needed for a month long stay; stove, oven, fridge, washing machine and clothes dryer. The sofa bed was comfortable and easy to fold in and out. The two double glazed windows opened onto a great view of the lively street below but the curtains, blinds and shutters could be closed if we wanted it dark and quiet. Iron, ironing board, coffee machines, toaster, electric kettle and vacuum cleaner were all provided. We wanted to sample the Parisian lifestyle and this was the ideally located apartment to do so.

Some people might find the 101 steps up to the apartment challenging, but we saw it as a way to work off the extra calories we had indulged in each day at all of the excellent restaurants and cafés nearby.

Ideal apartment for an extended stay. Friendly, helpful host.

Our excellent host, Olga, answered all of our questions promptly and fully via Booking.com before we decided to book. She met us on arrival and accompanied us up to the apartment. The apartment was well appointed for our extended stay and enabled us to prepare meals and do our own laundry. We enjoyed the sounds of the lively social life of Paris in rue Poissonière below our apartment, but we could shut this out by closing the double glazed windows and the remote controlled shutters if we needed to. The bed was comfy; it felt like our home away from home.

The only thing we did not like was leaving to go home! We fully intend to return to Maison le Bac before the end of this year.

Location made up for all negatives

Great location, a short distance from Chatelet les Halles, one of the major train stations. Two nearby Metro stations (Bonne Nouvelle, Lines 8 and 9; Sentier, Line 3). Lots of restos, shopping, boulangerie/patisserie, boucherie, green grocers nearby. Small, but clean with a kitchen that was stocked with basics. Make sure you let Olga know ahead of time when you are checking out because she is the only one who handles the cash (I'd given a security deposit in cash as requested). Note that maid service is an extra cost.

It got noisy because the Rex Theatre is right down the street. Every so often a line would form, but eventually died down. Front door locked only when firmly shut. Most of the time it was open.

The listing mentions ac but there is ac only in the main room. There is no ac in the rooms. We had gone during peak summer and booked expecting the entire propert had ac. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Rest all was good.
