Mežnar's beautiful nature holiday house Ukanc

Een heerlijk, rustig appartement, weg van de drukte van het Bohinj-meer. Uitzicht op de weilanden en bergen, waar we een vos, das en hert zagen lopen. Bijzonder aardige eigenaar.

The apartment was clean and well equipped, perfect for a family holiday. The location is beautiful and is within walking distance from Lake Bohinj (e.g. Vogel cable car station) as well as Slap Savica (Savica Waterfall).

Location is absolutely beautiful. This is the place for people seeking peace in beautiful nature. Hosts were very nice and helpful, ready to give any information needed. It is necessary to have your own car and there are plenty of nice hiking tours in wider area. Swimming in lake was an extraordinary experience. Take a proper hiking map(s) and adequate shoes and backpack, you are in mountains and be prepared. We liked order with parking in the area (do not park outside designated areas - you will definitely be fined).

We liked almost all but just to mention - be aware that everything in the area has a fee (parking, some mountain roads, entrance to churches and nature monuments). When everything adds it is not cheap to be there - but it was definitely worth it.

Very nice and pleasant location. The house is remote from civilization, so it is insanely quiet and calm. However, there is a grocery store nearby which is very convenient. The house has everything for a great holiday. Very friendly owner))
