Residence Novak Bohinj

Absolutely gorgeous property. It has everything for a comfy stay. There’s a fireplace, beautiful view, gorgeous walk in shower/ sauna. There’s kitchen with an air fryer, hob and dishwasher. We went to Lidl on the drive over from Ljubljana and cooked most of our meals. There are places to eat and drink nearby but it saved us a lot of money. You can do the Mostnica waterfall walk from the doorstep and it’s only a short walk down to the lake. It rained one day but it was actually really lovely to chill in the apartment and play the provided board games together. There was also a little goodie box of treats on arrival such as beers. There is a convenience shop a four minute walk away. The neighbours have the cutest dog and cat that are always outside too.

The driveway is very narrow which can cause anxiety with a hire car.

We liked that it was in a quiet location, but easy walking distance to the lake and town. We enjoyed mornings on the deck listening to the birds and watching the mist rise from the lake. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive.

Our room was on the third floor, so you need to be able to climb the stairs.
