THE APARTMENT
- A large living room opening onto the balcony, with a dining area for 6 people and a lounge space with armchairs, sofa, flat-screen TV and coffee table.
- The beautiful seafront balcony, with a panoramic view of the islands and the coastline from Cannes to Mandelieu.
- A first suite-type bedroom with a king size bed and its large bathroom with corner bathtub.
- A second bedroom with king size bed and its shower room.
- A separate kitchen with a dining table for two people, and everything you’ll need to prepare culinary masterpieces, or just warm up take out, all the appliances (including washing machine) plus kettle, toaster, coffee machine…
- Separate toilets.
- An office/study desk in the lounge area.
GETTING TO THE PROPERTY
Access to the property is within 20 minutes on foot from the Cannes train station, or 15 minutes by bus.
It is 30 minutes by car from the Nice Côte d’Azur airport.

WHAT’S IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
After a few steps down your street, the Avenue Laugier, you will be able to:
- Get to the Midi beaches within 30 seconds.
- Reach the steps of the iconic Palais des Festivals.
- Enjoy sunbathing on the beaches of the Croisette seafront.
- Take a train ride along the coastal Riviera and discover other towns such as Antibes or Nice.
- Do some shopping in the upscale boutiques along the trendy Rue d’Antibes.
- Explore the medieval district of Le Suquet.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
There are bus stops at the foot of the apartment building.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Metered parking is available in the same street as the apartment but there is a parking lot for residents within the property.
Household linen provided (sheets, towels, bath mats, dish towels…)
Daily essentials provided on arrival (shower gel, shampoo, coffee, water…)
Concierge service at your disposal throughout your stay.
Check-out by 11 AM and check-in from 4 PM (flexible depending on our availability; please let us know if you wish to arrive earlier or leave later, and we will accommodate whenever possible).
Check-ins can be in person until 7 PM.
Late arrivals are available until 10 PM upon request and for an additional fee.
After these hours, check-ins are only possible via key boxes.
All key boxes are located on the facade of our premises at 85 avenue du Maréchal Juin in Cannes, and keys should be collected from this address for all key box check-ins.

Beautiful apartment in the perfect location

Nous avons séjourné dans l'appartement, qui situé au 4ème étage du Palais de la Plage (escalier D), du 9 au 29 août 2020. Le lieu bénéficie d'une vue absolument exceptionnelle sur la mer et sur le massif de l'Esterel. De la salle de séjour, nous avions l'impression d'être en croisière ! L'appartement donne directement sur la Plage du Midi. Il n'y a qu'une rue à traverser et c'est la baignade assurée. Tout se fait à pieds-nus et en maillot de bain. L'appartement est traversant : les chambres sont placées à l'arrière de l'immeuble, à l'abri du bruit généré par le trafic automobile de l’avenue qui borde le littoral. Elles donnent sur la voie ferrée, fréquentée par les TGV et les TER qui roulent à vitesse relativement réduite. Le double-vitrage qui équipe les fenêtres des chambres est efficace. En revanche, l'immeuble - visiblement construit dans les années 1960 - est très mal isolé de l'intérieur. A l’intérieur de l’appartement, seule la salle de séjour (exposée plein sud) est climatisée, ce qui est suffisant vu que les chambres sont situées au nord.
En réalité, le seul inconvénient de cette résidence est le parking extérieur privatif dont elle est dotée. Le parking en question ne comporte pas suffisamment d’emplacements pour le nombre de véhicules qui en ont l’utilité. Du coup, c’est la règle du « premier arrivé/premier servi » qui s’applique. Lorsque le parking est complet (ce qui a été le cas pendant 95 % de notre séjour), les automobilistes garent leurs véhicules en file indienne à partir du fond, empêchant ainsi les véhicules garés « normalement » de sortir. La problématique du parking nous a amenés à revoir nos plans : nous n’avons utilisé notre véhicule qu’à trois reprises pendant nos trois semaines de vacances, ce qui peut aussi être un choix car tout se fait facilement à pied. Le marché Forville est à une douzaine de minutes de marche en passant par le Suquet (attention, ça monte), de même que la rue Meynadier.
