La Casita de Celia

The house is very cosy and made with love to every detail. It looks better than on the pictures. It has 3 floors. There are 2 separate bedrooms (one with a large fan on the ceiling, other with air conditioner), living room with huge TV and air conditioner, nice kitchen with some little treats left by the host. The bathroom is comfortable, but a sink is rather unusual) The terrace is nice but in July it's too hot to stay up there. There is an iron and ironing board there and it's pleasure to iron in a fresh air. Celia is a very friendly host and meets you when you arrive to the house. Location is rather good, about 5 minutes walk to Rambla street and the closest Mercadona, about 15 mins walk to the beach. We would definatly recomend Celia's cosy house for a couple, not sure about big family. You would have the whole house to yourself, not just a small apartment for the same price.

The beds are too small for 2 people (maybe 140 x190 cm), so we chose to sleep each in a separate bedroom. That was comfortable for 2 of us. There is a smell of old furniture. Ants are crawling around the house, especially in the kitchen.

Everything! I wasn't sure to book this property as the pictures on booking. Com are not great, however I'm so glad we trusted the reviews and from the moment we arrived outside we were so happy.. then walking up the beautiful stairs was brilliant - inside it's quaint - has everything you need and more, is a home with love not a basic holiday rental - from picking a glass that suits you to having a dart board, cards, dominoes in the sun.. it has everything - the bathroom is beautiful.. the floor is so fantastic, the cute stone sink and the shower is perfect. Then walking upstairs to the terrace of dreams. We wanted a holiday we could switch off hire bikes, drink vermouth on the terrace, eat good food and be in the sun so a terrace was so important and this is beyond perfect, the view of the castle - the privacy - shade when you need it but always sun also .. it also has everything upstairs you need!! No kettle, telly had no service in the bedroom.
