About this cabin rental
NEW HOT TUB INSTALLED MARCH 2025!!!! Please come stay! We are open for guests and River Rd has been repaired. If you want something different you have found it! Constructed from reclaimed materials by the owner featuring two bedrooms and two full baths w/deluxe showers. We are located 6 miles (3 of the six miles are gravel) from the Appalachian Trail town of Hot Springs, NC and a 45 minute drive from Asheville NC.
Perfect for a relaxing get away and equally great for the outdoor enthusiast!
Sit on the porch and watch the River flow by! Build a campfire and roast some marshmallows, maybe even pitch a tent. Put on your hiking shoes and enjoy some of the many nearby trails.
The French Broad River works great for Kayaks, Canoes, Tubes and Rafts. Put in up river and get out right at your cabin!
We are told by local fishermen that we have one of the best fishing spots on the River! Also, just down the road is a Premier Trout Fishing Creek located in the "Paint Creek Corridor."
Close to Mtn. Bike Trails a world class Trout Fishing Stream, hiking or back packing.
This is a bird watchers paradise! You may catch a glimpse of the resident bald eagle that frequently circles overhead or hear the geese honking as they fly up and down the river in formation.
Pull out your bicycle and ride a 24 mile loop from Paint Creek to Hot Springs or a shorter 12 mile loop through Paint Creek Corridor and back.
One of the greatest features to enjoy is the large, beautiful wrap around porch (NOW WITH HOT TUB!) and the private upper veranda
On the main level you enter from covered car port into open concept, full kitchen/living dining area with table and room to sit at the bar.
Leather Sectional, wood beams and fireplace with stone profile and wood stove insert add to the cozy feel of the cabin.
The bedroom on main level has walk in closet and King Size Bed. Main level bathroom is large w/Washer & Dryer, large tile shower and exit to wrap around covered porch that is 750 sq feet and has multiple doors for entry/exit convenience.
Upstairs, the Master Suite w/King Size bed and en suite bathroom has french doors leading to a private covered veranda overlooking the river. Hear the sounds of the rushing river and bask in the afternoon sun in private.

My wife and I spent a week at this wonderful cabin in late May. We agreed that this may have been the most relaxing getaway we've ever experienced, which is exactly what we needed. First, the cabin was outstanding. It was very cozy and comfortable. The large covered deck was a great place to sit, read a book and listen to the French Broad river flow. The hot tub was very nice too. The cabin lacked nothing we needed. On top of that, we had all the privacy we could ask for. Hot Springs, the nearby town, was fun to visit. The restaurants served great food and were operated by some very nice people. It was evident that the town has really worked hard to recover from the 2024 flooding. The Hot Springs Spa was very relaxing. There were some good hiking trails - we hiked lovers Leap and walked the creek in the Paint Rock area. We appreciated the owner/host, Leann calling to make sure our stay was going well. Again, this was a outstanding getaway. This is definitely a cabin we would like to re-visit.

This house was perfect for our weekend get away. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our time enjoying being outdoors. Leann was very quick to respond to all our questions and even was a huge help when we had an issue with our vehicle. I can't say enough good things about the house. We had to cut our trip short by a day but do plan on returning again in the future.
