About this cabin rental
Welcome to Brooks Cabin, named for our Brooks ancestors who acquired the property in the late 1940s. A beautiful custom built 1900s log home, newly remodeled. Surrounded by farm animals on a working farm, you’ll have the chance to see chickens, sheep, goats, pigs, barn cats and our livestock guardian dogs. It’s only minutes from the Appalachian Trail, in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access.

The perfect getaway for us and our 3 little doggies as we are miserable without them. The cabin is so cozy and peaceful. The hot tub is lovely. The views are gorgeous! The farm animal sounds will lull you into a serene mindset. Just what we needed getting away from Knox-vegas!

Kids loved the animals! Very comfortable home in a beautiful setting. My son loved catching butterflies. We used the hot tub each night. Updated bathroom and laundry. Off the beaten path - away from crowds we had experienced on other trips. Great for our dog too

Such a beautiful spot and wonderful welcoming communicative host! Amazing to see the stars and be surrounded by gorgeous mountains and lovely animals.

The cabin was very cozy and the decor was nice. There was plenty of room for me and my husband and our little dog to stay comfortably. Our host was great and check in was incredibly easy.
