About this cabin rental

Welcome to Brooks Cabin, named for our Brooks ancestors who acquired the property in the late 1940s. A beautiful custom built 1900s log home, newly remodeled. Surrounded by farm animals on a working farm, you’ll have the chance to see chickens, sheep, goats, pigs, barn cats and our livestock guardian dogs. It’s only minutes from the Appalachian Trail, in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access.

The cabin was very cozy and the decor was nice. There was plenty of room for me and my husband and our little dog to stay comfortably. Our host was great and check in was incredibly easy.

Our stay at Brooks cabin was perfect. The property was exactly as pictured and described. The hosts provided everything we needed and more (fresh eggs for breakfast)! Our kids loved waking up in the morning and running straight out to greet the animals. They even got to hold the baby goats. We also enjoyed ending our nights around the fire pit and taking in the view while the sun set. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a cozy place that feels like home to unwind and make memories.
