The apartment is ideal for those seeking the pleasures of a coastal holiday with the convenience of town location with restaurants, supermarkets and hotels within walking distance. There is a lockable surf store for the sole use of guests on the ground floor in the communal hallway.
The apartment is situated on the first floor of a converted Victorian/Edwardian building. It retains some character features with tall ceilings and sash windows.
There are numerous shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops immediately outside the apartment. Newquay railway station is directly opposite and there are regular bus services to Truro, Padstow and St. Ives. Just below the apartment on Great Western Beach, there is a surf school and is a great place to surf and enjoy a beach walk all the way to the harbour on low tide. Nearby coastal paths lead all the way to Padstow. There are some excellent beaches within walking distance from the apartment such as Tolcarne, Town and Lusty Glaze. Newquay is a hub for Cornish culture and adventure. There is the famous Fistral Beach for surfers and the award winning Rick Stein restaurant for all to enjoy.
There is no private parking. From October to April, parking is free on some public roads. From May to September, parking is payable in the train station car park opposite the apartment. Parking permits for a weekly stay can be purchased via your mobile phone with APOCA for £52.00 a week or £10.00 a day. There are 2 hours free parking outside the apartment on Cliff Road as well as parking from 9 pm to 9 am daily. There is off street parking (no yellow lines) across the road from the apartment. Please check out the parking signs yourselves before you park as the rules of parking may change from time to time.
