Villa "La Battigia" is located in a wonderful location within a private property of about 4000 square meters, directly on the rocks in Loc. Nisportino, a seaside resort known for its tranquility where nature still retains its charm, ideal for spending a peaceful holiday in total tranquility. The villa is only 50m from the beach, reachable via a small private lane. The villa consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds upstairs, 2 bathrooms with shower, dining room, kitchen. Equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, air conditioning, satellite TV, veranda with sea view, barbecue, private parking. Another particularity of the house is certainly the terrace for exclusive use located overlooking the sea to enjoy breathtaking scenery, wonderful sunsets will end your days. Included in the price equipment for the beach.

Simona and Luigi are really wonderful hosts. Friendly, accommodating and responsive to everything with lightning fast replies. We had a really wonderful week with our children. My wife and I spent most of our time on the fantastic terrace and having dinner there at sunset is a highlight! The house is a bit off the beaten path (many switchbacks to drive), but you have peace and quiet and no crowded beach. The house is simple, clean and you really have everything you need. The air conditioning works perfectly. The barbecue in the garden gave us a few great dinners with fresh fish. The way to the beach is short and reserved deckchairs are waiting there (to set up yourself). The only restaurant on the beach is very good and has high prices, especially for dinner, but those who have a terrace like that prefer to eat at home. We just got pizza once and ate it on the terrace. The nearest supermarket is about 20 minutes away in Rio Marina (Coop). There is also the fish shop "Pescheria Onda Marina". There we bought very good fish at good prices.
We had a wonderful week and would love to come back!

We spend one week at Luigi’s place, it was fantastic.
The location of the house is great, with different terraces owerviewing the sea. A little path to go down directly to the beach, the kindness of Luigi and his wife. The beach by itself, and the restaurant at the beach. We highly recommend this place.

This is a hidden treasure – a bit of paradise! We had the most delightful holiday retreat at this cottage on the hillside overlooking our own small beach. The hosts, Luigi & Simone made us feel very welcome. They provided helpful suggestions about making reservations for the ferry to the island months ahead of time. Check in was easy. They were waiting for us on the beach with the keys and a cold drink! The apartment was spotlessly clean. The house handled our group of 4 adults and 2 boys very well. The weather was wonderful so we had all the meals that we prepared ourselves out on the porch. The private overlook deck that was just steps away for the house had amazing views! We enjoyed many morning coffees and lovely sunsets there. From the house there was a private path down to the beach just for our use. At the bottom of the path there were beach umbrellas and beach chairs for us to use all week! Plus, the wonderful bonus of a very good restaurant right there on the beach. We had dinner there 3 evenings as well as a few lunches and snack stops.
The island has charming towns with heart stopping vistas as one traverses up & down the mountain sides but we were delighted to spend most of our time enjoying this private treasure.

The property is really magnificient, very private, with breathtaking and stunning views over the Nisportino bay and Mediterranean Sea. The house is literally few steps up over the nice clean beach with the excellent Ristorante & Bar "La Battigia". The restaurant offers excellent meals all day, the reservation for the dinner is needed.
The house is equipped very simple, but functionally, cleanless perfect, kitchen is suitable for basic cooking (you must buy all ingrediences, no storages of any on place). The nearest shop (supermarket Incoop, very good equipped) is 15 minutes by car, there is not a small grocery in Nisportino, so you need to manage it in advance. Most of the time we spent at the nice terrace just in the front of the kitchen and at the terrace with sunbeds and sunchairs few steps from the house with amazing views over the sea.
Luigi is a very kind person, speaking only Italian, very very small English, but it was really not a problem! He is a very caretaking host able to explain all what is needed, always keeping smile :)

P.S. We left in the house 2 wine glasses for the next guests brought by us from home, because some of the previous guests claimed in the review no presence of the wine glasses in the cupboard...Enjoy your glas of wine! :)
