Comfort and relaxation in a beautiful setting!

The views from the apartment are AMAZING. The location is also great, right beside the beach and the ferry dock. The apartment is nicely furnished and clean, and the professionally laundered towels were nice. The AC worked well. Having a bus stop right at the front door was great, giving you easy access to around the island. The free WiFi was good, and although I didn't need it, the free parking was a nice perk to have as well. Check in and check out were very easy, and there was good communication with the host although she doesn't speak much English. I would definitely stay here again if I return to gorgeous Elba. Thank you!

The lack of supermarkets in town was disappointing, but a bus ride to nearby Rio Marina will get you what you need. A microwave or convection oven would also have been handy, rather than just being restricted to cooking on the electric hobs. However, my stay was still wonderful despite these small inconveniences.

Air conditioning doesn’t work properly so it is impossible to sleep with the closed window. The WiFi does not work.

Other than the sofa bed everything else was up to our expectations. A little on the small size.

They have to change the sofa bed. Eventually put the mattress on the floor. With such a thin mattress the sub fame's wire mesh is like a mincing machine. This needs to be changed. You can't rent the place as a 4 bed with a sofa bed that bad. Fine for a couple.

The view from the apartment is great The guys from the Pizzeria downstairs are very friendly

You don‘t see anything from the old schoolhouse structure. It‘s just an apartment with very run down furniture. If you like the smell of pizza 24/7 and loud music, this is the place for you!

Cavo - my favourite place on Elba.

Perfect localisation, fresh renowed, well equipped, 50m to beach, 20 m to bar, caffe, restaurant, couldn't be better located in this small city, easy to find, helpfull personel

Someone installed dark sun blends INSIDE the rooms. So in the middle of the day we have hot (65C) plate on every window - air condition can't compensate this intensive heaters. There is no more physics teacher in La Vecchia Scuola :-) Put the blend outside - as it was mounted by centuries!

Bel posto, intimo e accogliente

La posizione è sicuramente una delle più interessanti sull'isola. Nei dintorni ci sono diverse spiagge interessanti. Bella la vista sul porticciolo e spaziosi gli ambienti: è un vero bilocale, senza compromessi. In bassa stagione l'appartamento è quieto; non so come sia la convivenza con i due ristoranti del piano terra in alta stagione.

Il bagno era maleodorante a causa di qualche problema con gli scarichi. Va fatta un po' di manutenzione. Piccoli dettagli nelle finiture interne svalutano un po' il bellissimo lavoro di recupero della vecchia scuola. Ma questa è una questione di gusto personale.

Traumhaftes Cavo

Die Lage der Unterkunft am Strand, der schöne Ausblick, und dass alle Geschäfte in der Nähe sind, ist hervorzuheben; außerdem ist man gut angebunden. Das Wasser des Meeres: traumhaft!

Die Klimaanlage war gut, jedoch nur im Wohnraum vorhanden. Das Schlafsofa war etwas unbequem. Die Wohnung ist für eine Familie etwas klein.

Il sogno della vecchia scuola rosa sull'isola che non c'è

Emplacement de rêve, front de mer, vue directe sur le port de plaisance et la promenade, petits commerces et restaurants à proximité. Plages équipées à deux pas . Station balnéaire pittoresque et animée, environnement paysager fabuleux. Le nom évocateur de la structure "la vecchia scuola"et son histoire ajoutent au charme de l'édifice totalement restauré et accueillant.

La communication minimale avec les gérants de la structure, l'accès malaisé par escaliers à l'appartement du 2eme étage , plaques de cuisson électriques très lentes ne permettant pas de préparer le café avec la moka.

I love Cavo..

L'appartamento è collocato davanti al porto turistico ..offre una vista eccezionale e la sua posizione è molto comoda. Inoltre ti offrono la possibilità di parcheggio privato gratuito (cosa non da poco).. Ritornerò sicuramente..♥️

L'unico piccolo neo è la mancanza di uno spazio esterno dove appendere i costumi e teli da ritorno lalla spiaggia.. Ma è davvero un problema da niente..

Prima verblijf

Leuke locatie aan een boulevard en vlakbij het strand. Koelkast met vriesvak. 2 elektrische kookplaten. Schoon! Mooi uitzicht, maar er is geen balkon!

De contactpersoon sprak amper engels. Je moet haar wel contacten voor je aankomst. Maar ze laat dan gewoon de sleutel in de deur. Dus je hoeft het niet ergens op te halen. Daarnaast wordt je, misschien vanwege de taalbarrière, niet goed geïnformeerd over waar je je afval kwijt kunt, hoe je het appartement moet verlaten, waar je de sleutel moet inleveren en waar je kunt parkeren (in het appartement lag wel een briefje waarop staat dat je prive mag parkeren, deze kun je in je auto leggen) De contactpersoon is wel bereikbaar, maar het zou makkelijker zijn, vanwege de taalbarrière, dat je een informatieblad hebt in het appartement waar dit soort informatie op staat. Je moet van muziek houden tot 01.00 uur vanwege de twee restaurants onder de kamers. Hierdoor is er tot 02.00 uur geluid buiten. Daarnaast rook onze kamer de hele dag naar geur van eten. En dat rook niet lekker. Je kunt de ramen/deuren dicht houden hiertegen. Daarnaast is het schoon, maar waren er wel wat gebreken. De airco's zijn vrij oud en ik vraag me af of ze schoon zijn en gecontroleerd worden op legionella en schimmels. Daarnaast viel de deurklink van de voordeur er de hele tijd uit. Waren er ophanghaakjes aan de deur afgebroken en waren er oude kranen en diverse slijtageplekken op kastjes en vloer. Dus het zijn kleine verbeterpunten en je moet dus houden van een luide omgeving. Daarnaast is Cavo een hele leuk plek en vrij rustig vergeleken met de rest van Elba.

Compact maar compleet appartement op super locatie Cavo! We kwamen aan het eind van de ochtend aan en konden na contact met Alessandra meteen in het appartement onze spullen kwijt. Wij vonden het appartement goed voldoen voor een aantal dagen. De omgeving is levendig maar alles is voor de deur bij de hand. Leuke restaurants,winkeltjes en het strand.

Toen er eenmaal contact was met Alessandra verliep het allemaal erg prettig (spreekt wel alleen Italiaans)maar de berichtjes die we eerder verstuurd hadden voor informatie over onze aankomst zijn onbeantwoord gebleven. Dat gaf een beetje een vreemde start aangezien er ook geen receptie e.d. is.

Prijazna lastnica, hitra odzivnost. Malo lepo mestece, mirno brez pretirane galame. Blizu urejena plaža, vse kar potrebuješ(bari,restavracije,trgovina... v neposredni bližini.

Slaba klimatiziranost apartmaja, klima samo v dnevnem prostoru in ta nezadostna, spalnica brez klime(vsaj dva apartmaja od šestih sta tako) . Posledično zaradi tega v spalnici odprta vrata zaradi česar se do poznih ur(tudi do 1:00 )sliši hrup, glasba in govorjenje iz spodnjih lokalov. Cena, pre visoka za to lokacijo in izgled apartmaja. Parkirno mestno je odročno in oddaljeno več kot se navaja v opisu(mogoče se misli zračna linija)

Helle, freundliche Wohnung mit Küchenzeile, Tisch, 4 Stühlen und Sofa.Die Räume lassen sich sehr gut verdunkeln. Sehr sympathischer Kontakt mit Alessandra.

Das Badezimmer ist relativ klein. Geräuschkulisse durch die Lokale darunter. Aber gute Isolierung durch die Fenster wenn sie geschlossen sind. Parkplatz etwas weiter entfernt.

La ubicación, facilitan aparcamiento, aceptaron a mi perra, las vistas y la tranquilidad.

No hay wifi, es un problema si tienes que trabajar un poco, como en mi caso, pero me puede arreglar. De haberlo tenido les pondría un 10. Espero para la próxima vez.

Appartamento per due con tutti i comfort necessari, tutto pulito e aria condizionata, TV presente ma non l ho mai accesa, nonostante sia sul lungo mare, quindi sopra negozi e ristoranti non abbiamo avuto problemi di rumori generali, proprietaria gentile e disponibile. Dalla camera da letto:vista mare. A 2 metri dalla fermata autobus. Consiglio anche il negozio sotto l appartamento con souvenir e gioielli fatti a mano veramente spettacolari! Grazie di tutto torneremo! Allego foto della vista dalla camera da letto, top!

Posizione e vista stupenda. Arredamento pulito ed essenziale. Architettura del palazzetto meravigliosa.

Assente ogni forma di sostentamento, acqua compresa, che se non si è fortunati con i giorni e gli orari in cui qualcosa nei dintorni è aperto (fuori stagione) rischio alto di rimanere a stomaco vuoto per molte ore.

Laut und erhebliche Mängel, dafür viel Platz und sauber.

Das Apartment war sauber und sehr geräumig, es gab viel Platz und die Küche war funktional mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet.

Es gab kein Personal vor Ort, man wurde auf die Kommunikation per WhattsApp verwiesen. Nachrichten wurden allerdings tagsüber an einem Werktag 6 stunden nicht beantwortet (Frage nach dem Ort des Parkplatzes). Der ausgeschriebene private Parkplatz konnte nicht genutzt werden, da er anderweitig genutzt wurde. Hier also eine nicht erbrachte Leistung. Die Wände waren sehr dünn, man hat Gespräche und schnarchen der Nachbarn gehört. Außerdem wurde die Nachtruhe durch sehr laute Geräusche von Nagetieren in Decke und Wänden gestört.

Die Lage ist direkt am Hafen. Wunderschön. Ein paar Schritte von der Fähre. War eine erfreuliche Ankunft auf der Insel. Die Gastgeberin konnten wir per Telefon erreichen und die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert. Die Küche haben wir nicht benützt, aber es schien alles vorhanden zu sein. Es gibt einen Laden in der Nähe, wo man alles bekommt und Restaurants sind ebenfalls in Reichwete. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen.
