Asunnon sijainti oli erinomainen, lähellä kaikkea. Kadulta alhaalla löytyi hyvä valikoima erilaisia baareja ja ravintoloita. Maijoituspaikan pohjaratkaisu toimii täydellisesti esim. kaveruksille tai esimerkiksi perheille, koska siellä on nukkumispaikat niin ylä kuin alakerrassa. Vuokraaja Edgar oli mukava ja lähetti meille erittäin hyvät ja ohjeet ja vinkit meidän Riikan matkalle.

Asunto voisi kaivata hieman pientä pintaremonttia. Majoituspaikka sijaitsee 3. Kerroksessa joten liikuntarajoitteiselle tämä voi olla haastavaa koska talossa ei ole hissiä. Iltaisin alakadun baareista kuuluu asuntoon ääntä mutta meitä se ei haitannut.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt! Es war wirklich alles da, was man zum Leben braucht – wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Wohnung ist hell, sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders angenehm war die zentrale Lage – mitten im Herzen von Riga, mit vielen Geschäften, Cafés und Sehenswürdigkeiten direkt in der Nähe. Alles war schnell und bequem erreichbar. Eine sehr freundliche und angenehme Atmosphäre – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Eigentlich hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen! Nur ein kleiner Hinweis für Menschen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind: Die Wohnung befindet sich im dritten Stock und es gibt keinen Aufzug. Für uns war das kein Problem, aber es ist gut, das vorher zu wissen.

Central location. But then again, Riga is a small place and 10 mins radius from here covers a lot of possibilities... Host friendly, communicative.

Nothing seriously bad. But lots of things slightly bad. This place looks to have been an office conversion for a business that didn't work out. So they took out the desks and put in a few items (bed, sofa) and called it accommodation. Cosy it isn't. Minimalist? Nope. There are empty spaces on both floors large enough to park a car. There are 18 electrical sockets down one wall, but nothing at the side of the bed, to plug in a lamp or a charger. Various items in the description are non existent or damaged (Xbox, tumble dryer, curtains/blinds,... ) others dirty or in poor repair (oven, cutlery, windows, ...). Followed the driving instructions to the place and was stopped by police and nearly handed a hefty fine. The entire area around the parliament is a no go zone unless you have a resident's permit. The nearest place to get access to the flat was in the parking garage. The place could have been wonderful, if only some investment had been made to make it so.
