A Quaint Retreat in Corfu!

Host Dimitra was very kind and helpful! She and her husband live next door, so they were always around. If there was an issue, she would always help! The place was cute, clean, and well-stocked with utensils; everything exactly as shown in the pictures. Would recommend for a couple! Parking was easy too, with no fuss. The resident pet dog was friendly, but could also be kept within the porch if you are not a dog person.

We had to be careful of the dog poo in the grass every time we came to and from the property. We understood it's hard to collect every bit of it, but more than once, even when taking care, we ended up stepping in it.

I would definitely recommend to stay here.

I stayed in a single apartment. They have two different apartments- one for singles and one for family. It was very nice. The stay was very much comfortable. Most amazing was the Host..! She adds her personal touch in everything. On my arrival, I took a wrong way to the property and stucked up somewhere. The owner was so nice to pick me up from that place. She also arranged grocery for me on the first day and provided delicious fruit & veggies. Overall, it was quite a good experience..! The host lives next door and is ready to help you in anyway she can..! The bus station is just a 6 minutes walk from the property.

Nothing much. It’s not related to the property but In Corfu, public transportation is not that much good. You need a car to roam around easily.

I didnt want to leave

Dimitra and her husband made us feel so welcome, the home was so spacious, the garden is beautiful, they were so helpful with everything. Their daughter Kiki was also fab showing us around the island and letting us join them on their day out. It was my first trip alone with my son and everything went perfectly, thanks to these fabulous hosts.

A place where i felt like home

It is a very nice place the garden is absolutely fantastic especially if you are traveling with children. Unfortunately we had a problem with booking the bigger apartment but it was not the fault of the host but of booking. The smaller apartment does not have air conditioning and we had 40 degrees everyday because we caught a very hot week there. But the bigger apartment is amazing. Unfortunately booking somehow did not show me this option but the host was so supportive and tried to help us in every way possible. They are incredible people that helped us with everything. Recommendations for beaches, restaurants , car rentals, food . It felt like i was at home with my family.. honestly i would always go back because the host was a delight. They provided us with umbrellas for the beach and beach towels even a small ice bag to take on the beach for drinks. They always took the time to talk to us for every small detail. I recommend a car rental because it is impossible to visit the island without one. There are also buses to arrive in the center and the station is close to the apartment so there are other options to arrive to the city center. All in all it was an amazing experience and i am glad i met so helpful and kind people that share the same passion for traveling as i do.

Not perfect but nice stay :)

It was a beautiful house, clean and nice location. Not far from the city and easily reachable by bus. The host was very nice and responded quickly and helped a lot with transport information.

There was no airconditioning. There were fans but they were very loud, so not nice to keep running when trying to sleep. The shower head could not be fixed to the wall and there was no shower curtain.

The beds were really comfortable and nice, we really liked the kitchen and the aesthetic of the house! The host and her family were really nice and helpful!

In my opinion everything was good, but the approach to the apartment would have been difficult if we had not arrived with our own car.

Demetra the House Keeper is a super friendly and caring lady. The apartment was very clean and tidy and it was equipped with everything you could possibly ask for. The garden is planted with numerous fruit trees and it truely is a heavenly retreat from the lively city of Corfu.

Everything went well and far better than expected. Such wonderful hosts thank you, Demetra and Kiki. It felt like home to us and they made it so. Far beyond our expectations. Such lovely people. Beautiful well established garden area to relax in. a large comfy bed and a roomy relaxing apartment with everything you require. They made "Our House" feel just like that! Thank you so much, We must return again! Miss you already.

Demetra`s place is spacious, clean and cozy. She is an adorable host who is always keen to help you. The flat is close to the old town and some supermarkets. We had a great stay.

Summary: You will love this place. It seems even better than in the photos. It is quite calm and in a good location. You may hear the airplanes during takeoff but you will quickly use to it (nothing terrible and no show stopper for us). Location: . The location is near to the airport (~8min by car). You can get there by foot (walking distance ~ 45min), however, the sidewalks are either small or none, thus sometimes can be uncomfortable. The bus station Alepou is close by ( > 5min walking distance) where public transport buses stop (8, 11) as well as Green buses. Accommodation: Exceptional and clean. Beautiful garden is a part of the property. You can spend a nice time outside. Host: Outstanding. Demetra is really nice and perfect host. She was helpful and kind. She helped us to call the taxi, advised places which we should visit... She responds promptly and is willing to help. Our big thank goes to her.

Great stay with welcoming hosts

Had a great and relaxing time. The place is very clean and quiet and has a nice garden. We stayed in the smaller house and had everything we needed (it’s a very big house split into several independent houses). Dimitra and her daughter, are incredible hosts, they made us feel very welcome. They gave us plenty of information and treated us with local delicious treats. Not far from the center but best to have a car. Totally recommend it.

Einfach perfekt

Die Unterkunft von Dimitra und ihrem Mann war einfach perfekt. Die Wohnung ist mit all den notwendigen Sachen ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war auch alles sehr sauber und die Handtücher wurden regelmäßig gewechselt. Man fühlt sich einfach sofort wohl. Die Wohnung ist umgeben von einem wundervollen Garten mit viel Pflanzen und Blumen. Man hat auch einen kleinen Außenbereich, sodass man morgens z.B. draußen frühstücken kann. Das Haus ist super zentral gelegen. Die Innenstadt ist circa 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernet und die bekanntesten Strände circa 20 Minuten. Das Ehepaar ist zudem total hilfsbereit und hat uns mit all unseren Anliegen geholfen. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit dort und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall weiter!!! Danke für alles!

Un'oasi di pace al centro dell'isola

L'appartamento è delizioso, immerso nella quiete del giardino della struttura dove ci sono un paio di altre soluzioni e la casa degli host. L'appartamento è dotato di tutti i comfort (ac, terrazza con stendino, kit bagno, asciugacapelli, pentole e utensili per cucinare ecc) ma sono proprio i padroni di casa a fare la vera differenza. Demetra, con la sua gentilezza e disponibilità, ci ha accolto e ci ha saputo consigliare durante tutto il soggiorno, semplificando la nostra vacanza sotto vari aspetti e permettendoci di rilassarci a pieno e goderci la meravigliosa Corfù.

Eccezionale

L'ospitalità di Demetra e la sua famiglia è il vero plus di questa struttura. La casa è carinissima, estremamente vivibile e con un fantastico spazio esterno che rende una vacanza anche il semplice stare nell'appartamento. La posizione è perfetta, in una tranquilla zona residenziale a soli 10 minuti dal centro, e allo stesso tempo nell'esatta metà dell'isola così da poter visitare sia le spiagge a nord che a sud.
