The location was great. The complex we had (Landmark 5b) was just outside the city so you felt like you were able to escape the chaos and bustle of the city. But it was close enough that you could get to everywhere you need to get within 30 minutes. Around the apartment building you had lots of great shops, an entire mall outside your door step and a big park where we watched the New Year fireworks. Our host that greeted us was also quick to respond to our questions and was very pleasant the short time we had with her.

You could tell the apartment we had was in rough shape. Doors and walls were showing signs of wear and tear, marks and just generally felt like it could use some renovations. The bathrooms were probably the worst. The shower doors and glass has heavy dirt and product buildups and the edges around the bottom were quite dirty. We questioned when the last proper deep clean was made. In one of the bathrooms we also noticed black mold. Obviously Vietnam is a hot and humid country but this was still really uncomfortable to discover.
