The One Sai Gon

Sehr schönes Apartment in grandioser Lager - leider auch wirklich teuer für Vietnam. Die Security am Eingang hat die Schlüsselübergabe zunächst sehr verkompliziert, sodass die Vermieterin anrufen musste, um das Einchecken zu vereinfachen. Die Wohnung ist wirklich groß und man hat ausreichend Platz in Bad, Küche und Wohnbereich. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist unschlagbar.

Leider war die Sauberkeit der Handtücher und der Bettwäsche nicht toll, dass sollte definitiv nochmal in Angriff genommen werden. Mir war das Bett auch deutlich zu hart, sodass ich einen zusätzlichen Topper anfordern musste. Das Gym und der Pool sind vom ganzen Haus nutzbar, was man (gerade) dem Gym leider auch ansieht.

de ligging is geweldig! dichtbij veel belangrijke plekken. het zwembad is een dikke plus.

het balkon is leuk, maar je kunt er alleen maar staan. beetje jammer. wel een geweldig uitzicht.

The location is good and central but to be honest, we stayed in district 3 (15 min walk to district 1) prior to this stay and we preferred district 3. Grab (Taxi) was super cheap and cost $1.50 in most cases so getting around anywhere, if you don’t want to walk, is super cheap and efficient and can be paid with card just as you would with Uber. Communication was good and quick with owner, no issues there at all.

The apartments are quite dated now and don’t look as classy as the advertised photos. Maintenance is poor for example, drawer handle off and just left inside the drawer rather than re-fixed, bathroom cabinets feel like the mirror doors could fall off when opening them so we didn’t use them, place needs a paint as is starting to ‘yellow’. The bar that is supposedly on the roof at the pool is permanently closed with no sign of re-opening. Also these apartments are expensive for Vietnam - we stayed in Mai House Saigon Hotel (a beautiful classy hotel) for the same price and our stay in that hotel included a fabulous breakfast and beautiful rooftop pool and gym and was in a really nice area close to everything. Theses apartments are over priced. I was also charged a further 3% due to paying by card - this was not notified to me in advance and the charge just sprung on me at the checkin. Not good.
