This place is amazing! Our family had a wonderful time living off grid for a week. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and remote. The owner is very nice, helpful, and easy to communicate with.

Our family, consisting of my husband and I, three adult daughters, 4 adult Grandkids and our dog had a great time at the Lazy Bear Lodge. The ride back to the lodge is a bit rough, but it is remote! Beautiful setting, games, campfires, antique shopping and visiting waterfalls for our 10 day stay.

We were so happy with the Lazy Bear Lodge! A bit of a hike to get to the cabin, but Marty’s directions were spot on. It was nice to slow it down and enjoy the scenic drive. The cabin was very welcoming, with room to move around without being on top of each other. Beautiful log furniture throughout the cabin. The beds were so comfy, in fact, everyone from our group said how great they slept each night. Another plus about the property is the stone drive, this kept down the dirt coming into house, so nice clean floors all weekend, even with much foot traffic.Thank you for the great weekend! I look forward to returning!
