I have three simple requirements when booking a venue. 1. Cleanliness & Hygene 2. Proper shower with space, nice worm water and a strong waterflow 3. Firm matress with firm but fluffy pillows All three these boxes were ticked, so I was happy

No 2-point plug or adaptor next to bed for cell phone charge The hairdryer was very small and actually did not work. Could only use the bathroom power socket because we had no adoptor the hairdryer plug fitted in For the price we paid, I would have appreciated a small box (125ml or 250ml) milk to start the weekend with. When we arrived the Friday evening from our event there was no shops open close by and we sort of expected milk as the photos showed a nespresso machine (maybe also nespresso pods for the machine :)) I also thought at 2x rusks for each morning would have been a nice touch for the price.

This property exceeded my expectations,

The apartment is clean and not far from V&A

The location was great, a walk away from the V&A. We were met by the team on arrival.

Upon arrival there was a R2,000 cash deposit requested from me which was not communicated prior to arrival, to my surprise. It is slightly unsettling as a female to arrive to such a request in cash which made me feel a little unsafe regarding the hosts. If a deposit is required it surely must be requested through the booking.com app so there is at least a record to the payment should there be any disputes.
