Our hostess-welcoming, kind and helpful The chickens and geese seen from the window.
We expected a pub atmosphere but due to the current situation the pub can only open a few days. We couldn't remember this mentioned when booking and were disappointed that it was key entry. However, Our hostess welcomed us at the door which was lovely. At no time did the WiFi work. Only one bedside light and too weak to read by. Black mould around the edge of the shower tray.

The ensuite accommodation was very good, modern and clean, with a well cooked breakfast provided in the restaurant bar.
The room window had to be kept closed to shut out the background road noise. My only gripe and it is very minor, a chair in the room would have been nice. Check the pub opening days if you want a meal and drink in house in the evening. They only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I stayed on a Tuesday travelling by motorcycle so I chose not to go out for an evening meal in the rain.

Clean comfy room, excellent fresh breakfast.
The pub attached to the guest house was closed, so I had to go into town for my evening meal.
