Luxury 2BR Apt by the Synagogue

Centraal gelegen, comfortabel ruim appartement. Je komt hier tot rust na een dag rondwandelen door druk Boedapest.

Een/twee extra pannetjes in de keuken was fijn geweest. Het historische pand wordt verbouwd maar daar heb je geen last van.

Im Hof ist eine riesige Baustelle. Die wird wohl hoffentlicht bald vorbei sein, dann erstrahlt der schöne Innenhof in neuem Glanz

Location: Great and convenient location in Budapest. Host & Living Area: The host was very pleasant and helpful. The living room was nice, and the main bedroom was spacious. Without the construction issues, our score would have been much higher. The apartment definitely has the potential for a great rating once the work is completed and the rest of our feedback is addressed.

Construction Site Feeling: We were notified a few weeks before arrival that building renovations were limited to the roof, far from the apartment. However, it practically felt like staying inside an active construction site. There was even a construction crane inside the building! Workers walked on scaffolding right outside our windows in the morning, and ongoing work took place in the hallway near our apartment door during the day. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Cleanliness was not up to standard, the oven was left dirty with food residue, so we had to clean it ourselves. The kitchen and kids' bedroom were also quite small. Bathroom: The bathroom was disappointing, with a drainage issue in the shower causing water to back up. Shabbat Compatibility: Entering and leaving the building requires operating electronic systems, which can be an issue for Shabbat-observant guests.

Building exterior is poor but all good inside.
