The views & location were great. Maria made excellent gluten free food. She works extremely hard, a real gem to the hotel. Very reasonably priced. We wish them well with their venture.

It’s not a 4 star property, 4 star views & staff but the infrastructure is not great. Bathrooms below par & linen especially towels are old and thread bare. No hot water & the general bathroom 1 star.

We loved the staff, pool, and views of the ocean. Compared to neighbouring towns we drove through, it’s much nicer to stay on the hill overlooking the ocean. The house is about 5-7 minute drive to valley of temples. I recommend renting a car to explore the area.

The property itself was lovely but the surrounding dirt road was not maintained (very bumpy) and also had lots of garbage. This is of no fault to the hosts but good to keep in mind for smaller vehicles. Once inside the gate, all was excellent!

The best thing about the property were the people! Masimo, who owns the place, was accommodating and kind. But Giusi, who takes care of all the cleaning and all the cooking, made our stay extra special; we felt like we were staying with friends by the end of our 4 night visit. Yoyo, the house dog, was a wonderful companion on the deck and on a walk to the beach. The views were beautiful, the beach was a short walk away, and the Valley of Temples was a seven minute drive; Agrigento was 10 minutes away, and the Turkish Steps and the beautiful beach bars that overlook it were 16 minutes driving.

Despite the description, it wasn’t a one bedroom suite—it was a very lovely clean room with a big balcony overlooking the Mediterranean, and a private bath. The living room portion was downstairs and communal (and very nice).

The communal area overlooking the coastline was great. The staff tried hard.

The bedroom was extremely small especially if you have two suitcases. Bathroom also extremely small and shower door needs replacing. When booking, if you want a view don’t book marina view.
