Villa like a museum
1. The house has a very big potential in beeing a familial villa for rent. It looks like a classic mansion, kind of functional museum. The garden, (despite the fact that is not clean of vegetation) is very large. Children can play outdoor. 2.There are two sequoia trees in the garden; quite impressive. 3. The location is great. 4. We managed to accommodate 5 families -total of 16 people- but with some compromises from everybody. We adapted two matels on the floor for one family, we shared the bathrooms and clean ourselves of dust and spiders the areas we need such as kitchen, toilets and bathrooms.
1. The villa was not properly prepared for guests. There was dust in the wardrobes and drawers and spiders nets in the corners and at the windows. 2. The villa was plenty of belongings of the owner such as small presents, pianos, books. It was like the owner left the house a couple of hours before we arrived and he will come back on the evening. 3. The garden is not maintained in order. Vegetation was not cut, the roses looks like never somebody took care of it. 4. There was a difference between what we have been promised in booking and what we have found on spot. The were not 5 but only 4 sleeping room , plus an open space in the attic. 5. We were 5 families in the whole villa for one week.There are only 3 bathrooms in the house, (plus one toilet on the ground floor), but we knew it from the begining, so no reason to complain about that. 6. The price for the week is quite high (>4500 Euros/wk).

The false descrrption of number of rooms: 6 bedrooms according to description of property, which was false. Landlord/Bookings.com have now changed the description, but only after several phone calls of complaint. The correct number of bedrroms is 4. In addtion, there is 2 living rooms with bed sofas.

Séjour Sportif Réussi
La Maison est magnifique, incroyable musée à elle seule, les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits très confortable. Nous avons super bien dormi. Proximité du lac et du bourg , de notre lieu de départ pour notre évènement Trail du Laudon. Merci au pianiste de louer cette maison telle quelle !
Un élagage pourrait permettre de faire rentrer plus de lumière. Cest un detail !

Séjour agréable dans une maison charmante mais qui nécessiterait un grand rafraichissement
l'emplacement, la tranquillité. Une grande maison pour une famille nombreuse.
Il faut faire le ménage avant de partir. C'est une surprise que nous apprenons à notre arrivée. Sinon une partie de la caution sera retenue. A prévoir dans votre organisation le jour du départ donc. Les photos sont extrêmement flatteuses et ne reflètent pas la vétusté de la maison qui est en fait très "dans son jus" et mériterait un grand rafraîchissement. Idem pour le jardin, bien plus propre sur les photos. Une "chambre" est en fait un espace nuit sur mezzanine, donnant sur une autre chambre.
