Good value place for a stopover

We just stayed for one night as a stop over and this family run place suited our needs very well. Very nice proprietress who explained everything clearly despite my poor French. Free parking and restaurants nearby.

Reasonable for price

Good communication. Easy access to keys. Clean facilities. Basic tea and coffee provided. A fridge in the room. WIfi available. Lots of shops in the local area.

From our window, yes a garden view and then a grave yard. Squeaky floor boards. TV goes off at midnight. Did not realise bathroom is a shared facility. Parking is on the road, we were the only car parked this way. Shops all close early.

Nice room with plenty of space and a good bed. Everything clean, funtional and comfortable. Closely situated to the Libramont Exhibition & Congress centre which was ideal for me - 5-6 minutes walk.

Excellent value for your money

This property offers excellent value for the price. Check-in was very flexible and fast. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The size of the room was good, and the shared bathroom was also easy to use, especially if all guests keep their visits to the bathroom reasonably short :-). I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a decently priced accommodation in the Belgian Ardennes.

Good price, quiet comfortable room.

It was beautifully quiet (apart from the creaking wooden floor!). The bed was very comfortable. It's a convenient place to stop and very reasonable price. Access to the hotel was easy.

Rather noisy creaking floor as other guest have mentioned, but that's only a small element in what was generally a very comfortable night's sleep.

the bathtub was nice but the bathroom was shared.

the bed was full of dirty bugs underneath my pillow. and the view outside was a graveyard with a few birds. Overall not a good experience. also the floor was making alot of sound. would not recommend again.

Cozy guesthouse close to shopping and restaurants and hiking trails

Everything is great. There are tea and coffee, towels and soap. On the stair there is microwave as well. Bathroom and shower is shared however it comfortable. Its small room with wifi in the heart of village with restaurants. Its reasonable price and close to all walking trails.

Soirée et nuit mémorable.

Rien. J'étais à RECOGNE pour mon travail, donc je dois faire mon rapport journalier. Problème pas de table pour écrire. Vue de la chambre ds le jardin et à la fin du jardin le cimetière. C'était calme oui pas à dire. Ds la chambre, une armoire à côté un fauteuil, les lits jumeaux, table de nuit et à côté petite armoire . Et frigo. Bruit toute la nuit à cause du frigo. Mur pas fort épais. J'entendais un enfant tousser les 3/4 de la nuit. Pour m'endormir un enfant qui pleurait jusque tard ds la soirée. Ho non. Plus jamais, préférais payé un hôtel que de dormir comme cela. Y avait personnes d'autres , uniquement les propriétaires. J'ai préféré de ne pas prendre de photo tellement que j'étais 😞 déçue.

A la place de mettre un bain avec une douche. Il vaudrait mieux de mettre une douche à part. Je ne sais pas plié mon genou. Donc pas su prendre une douche rebord de la baignoire trop haute. Et ne convient nullement au personne handicapées. Les chambres sont à l'étage, donc 2 volées d'escaliers. Cause du bruit ds la maison 🏠 je me suis endormie à 04 h00 et devait me levé à 8 h 30 pour aller travailler pendant 8 heures debout.

Voor de prijs heb je een prima overnachting.

Vriendelijk ontvangst. Eigenaresse deed haar best om mijn frans te verstaan. Het was overal keurig schoon. Ze had bestek en borden voor het meegebrachte ontbijt. Bedden waren OK.

De vloeren kraken erg wanneer je er overheen loopt. Interieur is wat gedateerd. Nachtlampje werkte niet.

Prima voor als je enkel wilt overnachten en vroeg op moet en niet de hele avond hoeft te verblijven.

Vriendelijke gastvrouw, schone bedden en badkamer, fijn dat er espresso apparaat is.

Het gastenverblijf bevindt zich boven het woonhuis van een jong gezin met jonge kinderen (lees peuters/baby’s). Het gezin en de kinderen zijn lawaaierig en tijdens ons verblijf hield de rumoerigheid tot 22:30 aan, wat naar mijn mening echt niet kan wanneer je een gastenverblijf runt. Daarnaast is het huis zeer gehorig, kraakt de vloer en op uitslapen hoef je niet te rekenen. Daarnaast doet de gastvrouw wel haar best om in een andere taal zoals Engels te spreken maar dit gaat zeer gebrekkig. Ik zou het verder niet per de aan bevelen aan reizigers die ontspanning zoeken. Als de host zich meer zou richten om het comfort en gemak van haar gasten zou dit een prima verblijf voor het geld zijn.

De gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk en respecteerde onze privacy. De kamers waren smaakvol ingericht - er was veel oog voor detail. De vensterverduistering voldeed volkomen.

Er was geen tafeltje met stoelen voor het ochtendontbijt.
