Bloody freezing indoors in Boulogne-sur-Mer

The flat is located opposite the university and close to the nice fortified old town with castle and cathedral. The flat is spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The check-in with key box was uncomplicated and so was checkout.

On our arrival the central heating was in operation, albeit only till 20:00. Next day it did not operate at all and the indoor temperature was around 17.5°C. I contacted Matthieu, the hosts, on booking.com mail but no reply till now. We spent the next 3 days of our 4 day stay in a cold flat with high humidity due to the wet October weather. Not a pleasant experience. If the heating had worked I would have rated our stay with 8. Better come in summer when there's no heating needed.

Lively spacious apartment, outside decked area was great. I enjoyed watching the free Netflix too

Great property, good location and perfect for an overnight stay.

The place is well located for accessing the centre of the town, with shops, bakeries and everything else you could need within a short walk.

There is a nightclub down the round from the property, the owner's can't help this, but it did mean we experienced drunk people shouting in the middle of the night as they were thrown out of the club.

L'emplacement proche du centre. La TV et ses options. Le retrait des clés était facile. Le stationnement la nuit relativement facile (mais pas la journée).

L'absence de contact avec le loueur. La propreté relative et l'odeur de rance de la literie. La vétusté du logement en général, soit entre autres : robinets mal fixés ; WC bringballant ; colonne de salle de bain non fixée qui bascule sur moi ; une bouilloire inops (remplacée par une bouilloire pleine de calcaire ... et déposée devant la porte car refus de toquer alors que nous somme présents) ; des infos obsolètes sur le parking payant (dès 8h30 et non 9h) ou des restaurant proposés fermés définitivement ; la mention "nettoyage compris" dans les réponses aux questions de l'annonce et l'affiche "merci de payer le nettoyage" affichée dans la cuisine ! ...

Sale très bruyant et mobilier abîmé

Pas grand chose … la cuisine était sympa

Beaucoup trop de choses qui ne vont pas endroit très sale , douche à moitié fonctionnelle , la deco n’en parlons pas un canapé griffé de partout et un clic clac à moitié cassé… de la poussière partout en dessous du lit et j’en passe … lit pas du tout confortable et draps qui ne sentaient vraiment pas bon … et puis pour rentrer trouver comment bien mettre la clé par rapport à la porte … et puis entendre tout ce qui passe en haut non merci …. Le parquet grince très fort et vous entendrez vos voisin du haut chantez sous la douche et chacun de leurs déplacement

Appartement bien équipé mais petit et bruyant

Chouette appartement assez confortable. Propre. Idéal pour un couple, ou un couple avec 1 enfant en bas-âge (pas plus...). Cuisine très bien équipée (rare pour être souligné).

Il n'y a qu'une seule pièce de vie/salle à manger/chambre. On est vite à l'étroit. Et le voisinage n'aide pas à se sentir à l'aise (très très bruyant). La terrasse ne donne pas du tout sur la ville comme indiqué. L'insonorisation de l'immeuble est problématique : l'appartement du dessus, aussi mis en location, est une sorte d'extension de celui-ci en terme de bruit. Si une personne marche au milieu de la nuit, vous serez réveillé. Si son smartphone vibre, idem (j'en ai fait l'amère expérience).

Très belle découverte confortable.

L'emplacement proche de la plage et du Nausicaā. L'agencement du logement. La décoration. Le matériel mis à disposition (couverts, Casseroles, lave-vaisselle, four, micro-ondes). La terrasse. La réactivité du propriétaire (communique aisée)

L'évacuation des toilettes des voisins du dessus qui est assez bruyante. Certains équipements usés (joint du frigo et revêtement micro-ondes).

Klein, maar praktisch appartement met goede ligging.

Het appartement ligt dicht bij het centrum. We konden onze fietsen in de gang stallen. In de keuken is alles aanwezig wat er hoort te zijn. Het is er wel gezellig.

Door de parketvloer was het nogal krakend. Je kan de bovenburen overal horen stappen. De badkamer is heel klein. Spijtig dat er aan de spiegel boven de lavabo geen licht was.

L'ambiance générale de l'appartement, cosy! Le matelas très confortable. Globalement propre / sain. La terrasse! (A fleurir!?) Le rapport qualité-prix L'emplacement (commodités, plage ou sorties / musées...) Les équipements même si j'ai très peu utilisés. Le parquet! Resa et infos efficace.

Le réglage en hauteur du pommeau de douche, le serrage, défectueux, retombe toujours...pas pratique... Hauteur de la douche (déjà évoquée parmi les avis) tout juste pour moi, au delà de 1m90 faut s'abaisser. Débit de connexion TV parfois trop bas (lagues et coupures) Oui en effet on entend un peu les voisins mais ils porlent comme cha très fort hein! Une immersion totale 😄

Logement « à la hauteur » du tarif

L’appartement est idéalement situé entre la gare sncf et la plage, en plein centre ville. La terrasse a été très appréciable :) Bonne literie Nous avons été accueillis avec surprise par le propriétaire plutôt agréable.

Communication avec le propriétaire très pauvre … réponses brèves et sèches (à mon goût). Le jour du départ nous avons envoyé un sms, resté sans réponse avant que je relance 2 jours plus tard. Nous avons laissé également 10€ supplémentaires sur le « plateau de bienvenue » pour un départ tardif à 15h au lieu de 11h. pour éviter de payer 10€ supplémentaires nous avons fait le ménage (contrairement à ce qui était noté il n’y avait pas d’aspirateur sur place). Le jour de l’arrivée nous avons notés plusieurs endroits sales. je confirme certains commentaires précédents, le manque cruel d’ustensiles pour fruits de mer dans un appartement en bord de mer… Il aurait était sympathique aussi d’avoir une notice d’utilisation pour cette cabine de douche alléchante dans l’annonces (jets, radio …). De plus la pomme de douche « pluie » était totalement calcaire et donc inutilisable… Malheureusement le sois disant « plateau de bienvenue » n’est pas très accueillant (2 dosettes café, 5 sachets de thé et un peu de sucre posé là) J’ai pu lire les réponses du propriétaire aux commentaires précédents : que doit espérer d’un appartement à 40-50€ la nuit …?! Pas grand chose apparemment ! J’ai voulu tenter ma chance… dommage.
