Holly Lodge Boutique B&B

It was a beautiful property and full of character. There is a lovely outdoor area too. We received a lovely welcome, and I was really grateful to the host who was happy to prepare some breakfast items that I could take to the room as I had to leave very early the next morning for an event. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Really hope to visit again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I chose this accommodation with great care,looking for very specific qualities. We were not disappointed. Holly Lodge comes within a hair‘s width of perfection (you always have to leave a little space for improvement). We had Mulberry cottage, lovely decorations, plenty of space, generous bathroom, lovely toiletries, very comfy bed. The breakfast options were plentiful, lovely buffet with fresh fruit, pastries and much more and a whole list of cooked varieties. It is served in the orangerie looking out onto the garden. Such a peaceful location. All you hear is birdsong, no road noise or any other disturbances.

Lovely breakfast, lovely room, walk-in shower, plenty of storage space in the bathroom, air conditioning, comfortable bed.

Not a lot. Maybe some cupboard space for clothes.

Enjoyed the lovely grounds and rural aspect. Shepherds hut was very clean and had a self contained kitchen. Very private and quiet with views over farmland.

Shepherds hut is very rustic with very little space inside to move around. No room for our suitcases. The bed is raised up and difficult to access for shorter people or less physically able (a step is provided). The hut is on wheels and shakes a little bit when walking around. There are no cafes, shops or pubs within walking distance.
