About this lodge
Pioneer Lodge is a bed & breakfast with. 5 bedrooms and is self-contained with an open fire. Located in Northeast Tassie. Group bookings work well and we offer 2 queen beds, 1 double bed and 4 single beds. All common areas are shared.
We are close to Derby bike tracks, Pioneer lake is a 5min walk from here and is great for water sports and trout fishing. The little blue lake is 5min drive. You can walk to cube rock a 2 hour walk with a fantastic view, we are 45min from Bay of fires. Pioneer formerly known as Bradshaw's Creek was a tin mining town with 4000 residents in its day and this was the best pub around. The pub shut in 1991 and re-opened as Pioneer lodge in 2012, its a charming old place.

The lodge was basically an old house but very well maintained and convenient inside. The owners are very helpful.
