If I would visit Lapland again, I would defenetly book this cottage again!
Awsome cozy cottage that filled us with best of emotions from Lapland. After a long car trip, we were greeted with a decorated christmas tree, warm cottage and box of chocolades, this was like a dream. Rooms were nice a large, but all togther, a nice cozy cottage at middle of the forrest. There was sauna, a chance to dip in the river (or in our case jump in to snow), all necessary appliances (dishwasher, oven/stove, dryer and washer etc.) and awsome forrest view from the window. Cottage was clean and prepared for our arrival, so we felt right at "home". Hosts were intereted how things are going and if all was acording to our needs. So it was very welcoming stay! Good stay for families aswell ,as there a separate bedrooms for kids and parents, or ar larger group (f.e. 2 families). Good access with car. Best part was, that even tho the cottage was middle of forrest, closest local store was walking disatance away, so you could get all you need, but still feel like "middle of nowhere" - a chance to forget the busy world around! Also nice driving distance from the Santa Claus village, so we could have a festive day with kids and then come back to have a relaxing evening with family. Would absolutely recomend for a stay in Lapland!
Lower floor got quite chilly, so going to the bathroom or sauna needed slippers or something warmer around.

Villa Vantus oli todella kaunis ja kotoisa: upeat hirsiseinät ja lautalattiat. Näkymät kauniit Kemijoelle. Kelit sattui surkeat mutta sekään ei haitannut kun puitteet mukavat. Isäntä Henry vastasi nopeasti kysymyksiin. Mökki hyvin varusteltu. Lähellä kuitenkin kauppa vaikka kaukana Rovaniemen keskustasta.
WC olisi ollut kiva makuuhuonekerroksessa. Nyt se oli alakerrassa. Mutta oli mukavaa kun alakerrassa oli lattialämmitys.
