The location is great. It's quiet, central, there are local shops and a tourist information as well as a couple of restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly but only the owner spoke English (google translate to the rescue). The room was a good size. We liked having a ski store and being able to leave our luggage after check-out for a while. There is off street parking for small cars (narrow access) but we found plenty free parking out front. The dinner options in the on site restaurant are limited but tasty and a good price. Good breakfast options, hot and cold for £5 to £7. The downstairs fireplace was cozy. There is a well stocked bar.

For the price I think the breakfast should be included (at £200 a night for a family room). Our room was a bit dated/showed wear and tear, had a dirty stained carpet, no shampoo, and no working bathroom fan and didn't match the booking. com pictures. The floors were creaky (we didn't mind as it was an old house). The rooms have no kettle (I guess most European hotels don't offer that) and only Czech TV. There is a bar downstair were we felt usually very welcome apart from on new years eve after 10, or maybe I misread the situation. The fire alarm was missing from the ceiling.
