The staff could not be faulted. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and friendly. Absolutely excellent.
The room was nice and so was the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The food was first class. We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. The pool was nice and were the surroundings. But too cold to swim in October.
Coffee making facilities were provided in the room with a coffee pod machine. But it wasn’t complimentary. I have never been asked to pay for coffee in a hotel room before. Tea was free ! How odd.
It was expensive and not great value for money.
Then hot tub didn’t really get up to temperature.
When it rained there was nothing to do but sit inside. The view was so so.
It was up a steep hill. Going in to town took 15 minutes. But a taxi back up the hill was €40-60 for a 5 minute taxi ride.
There were several golf buggies and drivers but no one ever asked the guests if they needed a lift up the steep hill. Again odd to have the service but not provide it.
Got the feeling the owners were really milking it at the expense of the staff who had no days off and worked from the start of the season in May to the end of October when we were there. Noone was from the island itself. Seemed like exploitation. Mykonos was pleasant, but not exceptional. But horrendously dear. And the service outside the hotel not that friendly or good. Food was so so. They just wanted your money. Even more than Santorini. At least there they did it with a smile.

What a stunning hotel. Spotlassly clean. Nothing too much trouble for the fabulous staff members. The room was a great size (we had our 17 year old son sharing). Stunning sea view. 10 min walk into Mykonos town. Breakfast exceptional. I could go on and on. Thank you Kostas for looking out for us at the pool. Diana for looking after breakfast and Nikos for being the most fabulous barman. We will be back.
