The location of this hotel is stunning, the mountain range views being the best. All the rooms are spacious with outstanding views, comfortable beds and amenities. All recently refurbished, the hotel having only re-opened in September 2025.
There is a lovely pool area and the grounds are safe to walk in with a wildlife collection of herbivores - of course they all disappear when you walk near them !! Amazing to awake with the wildlife surrounding the hotel in the mornings.
The food and staff are also exceptional. I did not want to leave. By far the best place we stayed in our 14 days in South Africa.
We could have stayed longer !!

Beautiful hotel, lovely food and the animals coming to the watering hole felt extra special. 5 giraffes to watch through breakfast!
The bar closed just after dinner, so before 10pm which is a little early.
