About this house rental

This gorgeous 2 bedroom cottage is located within the heart of family-friendly Subiaco. The house is situated on a peaceful tree lined street less than 2 minutes walk to Rokeby Road, the main Subiaco shopping village, great restaurants, cafes and bars and all local amenities including a library, gyms, quick and easy access to transport.

The whole home will be available during your stay.

You will have access to the entire home, with two bedrooms, a lounge room, dining space, kitchen, bathroom and laundry area. There is also a back yard space with chairs.

We live close by and will be available at all times during your stay.

Subiaco is a vibrant, eclectic suburb full of intriguing boutiques, art galleries, markets and charming cottages.

Close proximity to Perth’s CBD and King’s Park, pretty Federation style homes, tree-lined streets, lively nightlife and urban lifestyle combine to make Subiaco one of Perth’s most desirable districts. Bounded by West Perth, Shenton Park, and Wembley, Subiaco’s young professional family demographic and a profusion of cafes, restaurants, and boutiques, manages to preserve a low-key community feel, and picturesque appeal.

Hay Street cleverly blends a shopper’s heaven, with a stylish, community feel. Here you’ll find the latest designer outfit or, strolling down a backstreet, you’ll find a chic modern café or art gallery. Subiaco is simply a cosmopolitan culinary delight. Residents support a range of eateries, with Subiaco’s streets lined with tempting options for every budget and taste.

The Subiaco Farmer’s Market comes alive each Saturday morning where the vibe is reminiscent of a French street scene. Families and dogs jostle and laugh whilst live music plays in the background and the smell of crepes and coffee tantalize the senses. Get down early as specialty foods, including gluten-free bread and cakes, and additive-free preserves and produce, all sell out quickly.

There’s no shortage of green parklands, playgrounds and community facilities, helping to attract young families into the area.

Subiaco has an extensive public transport network of trains and buses.

TRAINS
The Perth to Fremantle train line runs through Subiaco with stations at West Leederville, Subiaco, Daglish and Shenton Park servicing the area.

There is a regular service on the new airport train from Perth airport to Perth City centre (every 12 minutes at peak time, and every 30 minutes at night). From central Perth, there is a 15 minute train ride on the Fremantle line to Subiaco station. The property is a 15 minute walk from the station.

BUSES
Nine bus routes run through the city, connecting Subiaco with much of the Perth metropolitan area. Bus routes include the 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 97 (Subiaco Shuttle), 98 and 99 (Circle Route), and 103.

SHUTTLE
The Subiaco Shuttle (route 97 bus) is a high-frequency local bus service that connects Subiaco Train Station, QEII Medical Centre and The University of Western Australia.

The Subiaco Shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 6.43am to 6.30pm on weekdays.

We loved our stay in this quaint cottage in the beautiful Subiaco, we were welcomed with lovely roses, fresh milk. It was clean bright and fresh and the perk of the little outdoor shower was perfect as it was warm weather. The beds were comfortable, and a secure yard for our dog, would definitely stay again thankyou
