We greatly enjoyed our stay at this apartment, which is slightly out of the touristic center of Lisbon. It's in a more 'everyday' neighborhood which we liked and had everything from a bank to a market to cafes and restaurants within eyesight. The metro station is right around the corner, so it took no time to get right to the heart of things and it is only a few stops away from the airport.
The apartment itself is on the 10th floor of a fairly modern building and has an elevator. There is also a ramp to the main door, making it extremely accessible. The furniture, including beds, is pretty comfortable and although it does not have a dishwasher, the kitchen is surprisingly spacious and easy to use. Each room except the bathroom has south-facing windows with an absolutely gorgeous view of the Tagus River where you can watch the sun rise and set.
Our host, Delfina, is an absolute delight and showed us all of the workings of the apartment. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but I have no doubt they would have been addressed promptly if we needed. The windows did a great job blocking out any street noise, but we did hear some noise (and have some smells) from other units in the building, which is not unusual for Portugal or Europe. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet (yet convenient and accessible) in Lisbon.
