Friendly host, clean and big room. Appreciated that she came over to let us pay in cash as we could not do online transfer as foreigners, and gave us tips on getting around too. Location is convenient, walking distance to the train station. Near the bus stop to Jiufen (15min bus ride)
Very steep stairs up

Convenient location. Easy check in and out.
1. No lift - you will have to walk up 3 flights of Very steep stairs (see photos attached). As such this is not recommended for people with heavy luggage, the injured or the elderly. 2. Corridor light shines brightly into room at night through glass wall (see photo attached). I did not sleep well at all. 3. Cash only payment - but the business does not tell you this in advance. This is inconvenient especially for international travellers.
