I thought I had booked a bed in a dormitory, but apparently that means ~15m2 private room and shared bathroom here. Genuinely amazing. I could even check in early. The staff is very friendly and the "hostel" is close to the Putou bus stop so getting to Jiufen takes very little effort.
Soundproofing is quite bad, and if it rains at night there's a really annoying dropping noise.

Très bon emplacement, près de l'arrêt du bus pour aller à juifen et aussi de la gare que l'on peut peut rejoindre à pied.
Le couple de propriétaires est charmant et prêt à donner des explications malgré qu'ils ne parlent pas anglais. Avec un appli, c'est facile et efficace pour se comprendre.
La chambre est petite par rapport aux normes européennes mais je m'y suis sentie très bien : propreté, bon matelas, eau chaude pour la douche et pas de bruit.
