Spacious 8 berth caravan at Southview Holiday Park near Skegness ref 33018ML

Really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved it. Lots to do on the site. Close to the beach. Over all very pleased..

When we got inside the caravan the shower had long hairs at the bottom of the shower?, Disgusting? Then the blind fell down above kitchen sink?

It was so simple and everyone was very helpful, as we had 3 little dogs it was ideal for us as a family

We loved our time in the caravan. We decided we would come again. Until I received a email accusing us of damaging a floor! Even when I explained there was no damage when we left I was still accused. Wouldn’t stay again!!

Exactly as advertised, we love staying on southview due to its proximity to fantasy island and of course the seafront. The caravan was spacious and very close to the entertainment centre. Check-in was simple with keys in a lockbox attached to caravan which meant we could go straight to it and skip reception.

Comfortable and clean. Lots of duvets and pillows and well stocked kitchen. Was a little bit cold outside in the morning but the heating in the caravan was amazing. Will visit again …

The caravan was ok, I appreciate it can’t be immaculate when dogs are allowed in but it had all the facilities needed for your holiday. The site was nice but some of the people staying there seemed to forget they and others had children and were steaming drunk, shouting and swearing and acting aggressively. We left the bar one day when we had gone for a bite to eat as one man was extremely drunk and trying to fight the bar staff, i do not want my 12 year old daughter witnessing that!

I would highly recommend a stay at this property and would not hesitate to book again. The caravan was clean and tidy throughout and situated in a relatively private area of the site . I was also very impressed with the site layout and grounds (and ducks)! Loved it. Thanks.

We enjoyed our stay, everything as advertised, few dog hairs from previous but to be expected as this is a pet friendly property, overall a really nice stay and would return :)

We booked as a last minute thing for a short 2 night break on our way home from visiting family found the process of booking really easy with 2c holidays they rang to get details of guests and to book my dog in and text me the day before I was due with the code to key safe really ,easy caravan was very clean and had everything we needed lots of information about the local area I would definitely book again

After seeing several negative reviews of the state of other caravans on the holiday park, I was pleasantly surprised to find that our caravan, 18 Maple Lake, was spotlessly clean, spacious and with a useful amount of kitchen tools and equipment etc. Nice, quiet location and relaxing to stay in the caravan. The hot water wasn't working when we arrived but this was quickly sorted by maintenance after a call to the holiday company. We would happily stay there again. The only downside for us was the distance to a beach or similar where we could let our dog off the lead. It would have been good to have been able to walk there rather than have to drive.

This property was ideal it was a couple of minutes walk from the show room and the bar and restaurant and leisure centre. The property was clean and met our expectations, 6 adults, 2 children and our lhaso apso stayed here and it was big enough for us all. Be prepared to wait up to an hour to get into the showroom unless you go either at 5 or after 9 this is due to situation with COVID also make sure you book 3 days in advance should you want to use the leisure centre. The fish and chip shop on site taste vile I would recommend avoiding it. The park is lovely but book activities on advance. Takes around 10 minutes to drive to skegness or 15 minutes to ingoldmells, there is plenty to do in both areas. 2c holidays were fantastic and kept in regular contact before and during the stay vie email. I would definitely stay again.

We have just come back from a 2 day break at 18 Maple Lake. The caravan is extremely clean and tidy. The location is superb, I would recommend this caravan to anyone and wouldnt hesitate to return

First time hiring this caravan and from 2c holidays. One thing that isn’t obviously clear from the app, is that certain sites in the area DO NOT allow single sex groups. This played havoc with our booking, and had to have many last minute changes. But we got there in the end, the site and caravan was very easy to find. No check in needed either, just a key safe next to the door to navigate. The caravan was very nice, spacious and nicely laid out with a great table/booth area. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were quite handy too. As nice as the caravan was however, we did encounter a few problems. Firstly, it was freezing. Middle of October mind, probably not many staying in it so the heating was isolated (we'll come back to that later) but after a near 3 hour drive our first priority after getting the bags in was to get dinner on, but we had a problem. The top 4 rings have their own igniters as you’d expect, however the main oven either didn’t have one or if it did it wasn’t working. We called the maintenance department, but to no avail. Even the next caravan a few doors down couldn’t help us, and even had the same trouble herself. This meant we had to perform a two man operation, one depressing the gas dial whilst another guest (albeit a bit braver) got to the back of the oven armed with a cigarette lighter. There was no lighter provided to light the oven, so we were lucky some of our party smoked. Now with dinner out the way, this brought us to our next problem. We couldn’t wash up. No sponges or washing up liquid. In several phone calls leading up to the holiday, we were told to bring usual linen and towels etc but not tea towels. Anyway, the only real problem was the heating issue, which we forgot about initially as the oven warmed the room up somewhat, but we went out soon after and got back late meaning we didn’t really look at it until the morning. We tried all sorts but assumed we were doing something wrong, this prompted another call to maintenance who gladly came and helped us out. It turns out that inside the cupboard underneath the boiler, is an isolation valve. This may have been left on by mistake, but without any instructions it was impossible to know. Thankfully our caravan was soon heated thoroughly and we had no more problems. Some nice instructions would have helped tremendously though. All in all a good holiday, with plenty of contact from agents 2c Holidays. Just be prepared to take a bit of cleaning gear with you just in case.

Perfect setting with the option to check in earlier and later on checkout, gave us plenty of time. Caravan spacious without overcrowding would book again
