What a treat! The villa was outstanding. The most stunning views, excellent accommodations. Nicola met us at the train station and welcomed us into the home, appointed with coffee, breakfast toasts and plenty of water. The beds were very comfortable, and sunsets from the terrace are not to miss. During our stay, we dined at La Cambusa (favorite meal) and had a phenomenal wine tasting at Santavenere. We walked to the port for the festa, the beach for swimming and sun, and did the hike to Christ the Redeemer. Among many other activities! Everyone in Maratea was kind and friendly, and staying at the Villa was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa in Matera. The location is excellent – close to everything. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!
Just a note for future guests: it can be a bit noisy at night due to the main road nearby, and during our July stay, it was quite hot.

Sehr schöne Villa in toller Lage mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Nicola ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber, es lagen kleine Gastgeschenke da und auch etwas für das Frühstück. Es ist alles gut ausgestattet, es hat nichts gefehlt.
Es ist sehr hellhörig, wenn die obere Wohnung besetzt ist. Bei uns waren da vier Kinder dabei, das war schon sehr laut.
