A well-situated and well-equipped apartment for exploring Split old town and the wider surroundings.

The location is excellent if you prefer to be outside the hustle and bustle of old town (but only 10mins walk) but also be on the doorstep of the Marjan peninsula with its wonderful walks and beaches. The apartment is well-equipped for those wanting to cook for themselves, and there is plenty of space for a couple. You don't get much natural light inside, but the patio outside is nice enough when it's quiet (see below).

Main thing was the neighbour in the top floor apartment (this is the lowest of three floors) decided to do some drilling on many of the days we were there. There is little noise insulation in the apartment, so you hear a lot. Kristina and her father did make an effort to help them stop it, as you shouldn't be doing this work between 2-5pm (which they did). But we were woken by drilling at 9am one day, and another they did it at 7pm. Not ideal for a relaxing stay. A few other things that could be improved with a bit of attention - shower head leaks, shower tray gets blocked so is more of a bath.

An extremely cosy and homely place to stay

The apartment is cosy and homely: there are lots of useful little things, kitchen accessories and other items that create a comfortable atmosphere. The owner was always available and explained everything in great detail. A big plus: there is a washing machine and dishwasher. There is air conditioning and good internet.

It is a semi-basement room. That means there is no ‘view of the city’, but this is more of a plus than a minus, because the apartment does not heat up in the sun during the day.

Nice spacious apartment well positioned over the old town.

Spacious and well maintained. Host communicated well and gave us some good tips on the local area.

The outdoor seating area was a bonus, however, be aware that the neighbour, whose entrance is right next door, is a heavy smoker.

Great location, parked easy, lovely host made us feel welcome.

Got quite hot with no air on in the bedroom. Although not the hosts fault, the neighbour were talking very loud outside of the property until 11pm and the girls couldn’t sleep.
